I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not entirely resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I take issue with the claim that they ceased verbal contact upon receiving the information that my mother had passed awayI am the one that called them to inform them that she passed away, arranged for the pick up of the vehicle and made clear that there was no estateWe received several phone calls, as stated in my original complaint AFTER I called to make those arrangements both before the vehicle was picked up and afterWe do use Google Voice for all of our phones, which has an electronic record of all phone activity including these calls. I also made it very clear in and that there is no estateThere is nothingThere is negative money and assets, and I certainly won't be reaching into my own pocket to pay her debtsI am not the executor of her estate, because there wasn't an estate or a will or anyone assigned as executor I made this EXTREMELY clear to them from the beginning because I previously worked in collections and I knew that I had to do this in order to prevent repeated contact from them.I was told every time I complained that there would be no further contactI imagine that they recorded those calls? And to add insult to injury, receiving more correspondence around the anniversary of her death?The resolution of never contacting us again is acceptable, but I will not accept the insinuation that I am not being truthful about the contact from this companyThe contact is my entire complaint If I'd just received an errant letter two years later with none of the mess in between, I would have written it off as a mistakeBut I did make it clear a long time ago that there was no estate, and to refrain from contacting us at any of the addresses or phone numbers they had on file, or any other numbers

away. We did not make any efforts to reach out to anyone verbally once we were notified of the deceased customer. Written correspondence of account status, such asthe letter sent on November 17, 2015, was sent notifying the estate of a deficiency balance.The account has been updated and coded as 'deceased'. Therefore, no further collection activity will occur on the account. The only correspondence that would be sent, as required by a government agency, would be document(s) such as a 1099.
