Hello, I had a scheduled appointment with this Neurology Clinic at 11:00 am, on February 2nd, 2020. This appointment was for my sick mother who suffered a stroke last April of 2019. She is suffering from a condition called bruxism. My mother's Primary Care Doctor referred us to this clinic for treatment. We we're placed on a waiting list for the appointment. While discussing the case before the appointment, the receptionist seemed very luke warm about scheduling the appointment and I got the feeling of this by an attempt to discourage me that my mother's health insurance would most likely not cover the cost of treatment. (She has excellent insurance). Regardless, I rested the appointment and would pay the treatment myself so my mother can find relief. We received a call from the clinic last week saying there was an opening, would we like to take it. Yes, of course we would. (Date and time mentioned above). My mother lives in a rehab facility in Grangeville, Idaho. I drove her almost 100 miles each way for this appointment which this first meeting was only for an evaluation. The clinic received ALL the documents of medical history for my mother. Due to unforeseen construction on the highway, we we're delayed and arrived 10 minutes late. (I called this office to let them know what was going on. The receptionist advised me to get there when I could and drive safely. We arrive roughly 10 minutes late, and I brought the paper work with me from rehab. This receptionist was of a cold demeanor. She asked me for paperwork that was supposedly sent to my email address. (I never received it). I keep my mother's ID and medical cards on my phone. I had them with me. With this, we we're refused to be seen. I was NOT told we had to bring hard copies. My mother is very sick and this trip took a lot out of her. We we’re pushed out the door.
