I called Clearwater Pools to come and review my XXXXX gallon pool which needed to re-re-plastering This is not my first plastering job on this pool and we've had many years of learning, maintaining and upgrading our pool Phillip arrived on time, has a professional manner, asks the right questions and listens to our concerns After some discussion on how to proceed and his giving me an estimate and all that would be included in the price, we settled on a date to begin work His crew arrived to begin the job to draining the pool, do some repair and later re-plasterincluded in his estimate was balancing water chemistry and start up chemicals Clearwater Pools has an excellent team of hard working professional They arrive early and set about their work with a happy attitude and got straight to work Our questions to them were respectfully and cheerfully answered They were very conscientious about cleanup of the area Our experience was very satisfactory and I would not hesitate to recommend Phillip's team at Clearwater Pools, Tyler, TX for any pool repair/remodeling/maintenance Elaine & Rick

On July 29, we replaced the seal on the customer's pool pump This repair carries a day warranty The customer called us on May 13, to tell us the pool pump was leaking She said that it was a slow drip We told her that we would come out as soon as possible The problem was not emergent but not ignored When we were able to get to the customer's residence, the gate was locked so we could not get inWe had to make a return trip at no cost to the customerWhen we returned we found that the pump was not leaking The customer was offered the option of having the seal replaced, at a cost, which she declined

We remeasured Mrs [redacted] 's pool and compared these measurements to the original measurements and they were exactly the same While remeasuring her pool we noticed a large tear in the liner in the deep end that someone had tried to patch Whether this was done by accident or by abuse is unknownThe water in the pool was obviously drained down to the point of damage When pool liners are left empty in a pool and not filled up right away, they will shrink This is what happened to the liner The only call to our office was on 7-10-to say the liner had popped out of track We put the liner back in the track and have no record of payment The liner was installed in June of and was used for years with no record of complaint Their contract states plainly that they shall look to the manufacturer's guarantee, not the contractor The manufacturer of her liner was "Factory Direct", out of Atlanta, GeorgiaThey were bought out by Merlin Industries, Incof Hamilton, New Jersey A condition of the sale is that Merlin Industries will not honor any of Factory Direct's warranties However the tear in the liner would not be covered under warranty anyway I offered Mrs [redacted] to replace her liner at my cost including labor as a gesture of goodwill despite the fact the damage to the liner was caused by a user of the pool She declined
