Cleary Gull Investment Service

Cleary Gull called soliciting business. The agent could not tell me where he got my name and number. He guessed it may have been from an old seniority list at my airline. Seniority lists are NOT published for business solicitations so Cleary Gull's obtaining and use of it would be improper if not in violation of the law or company policy.
I asked the agent if he checked the do not call list and he said no. I asked how he knew it would be alright to call without checking and he didn't have an answer. He guessed maybe somebody in his marketing dep't took care of it.
I told the agent not to make any more solicitation calls but to have his manager call me to further resolve the issue. He assured me the manager would call back in five minutes. He didn't call back.
