I have never met [redacted] but I have met ** on several occasions concerning the work that was to be completed. The lien was not coming from Cleaver Construction. It was coming from the vendors for materials on their site. I was told by ** that he had built and sold several houses in the past while he was a full time fire fighter. I was impressed by his work ethic. I am done with this disagreement and will gladly take any email or phone call from a person who would like to confirm this complaint.

I appreciate the opportunity to respond to complaints against my company but meeting and talking is the only way to come to a solution.

Trenching for gas was not part of contract. Scope was added after, no charge was added in effort to maintain good relationship with client.a single service for the house was installed, however the client failed to notify cleaver site foreman that the consuit was now changed to a double service to...

accomidate neighbor. A change order needs to be agreed to in order to get work done for second time. client was also given free haul of of tree debris. Original scope only includes the removal of large tree with revenant a remaining on site.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  If trenching for gas was not part of the contract, why did they do it without saying anything? When we met with them for an estimate, we had given them a print out of what we needed done, which included trenching for utilities.  Gas hook up was not part of their contract at all.  Trenching was.  Trenching was performed by the company for the gas line without coordinating with the gas company, so they just went out and dug the trench, leaving it open for nearly two weeks, and never filled it in.  Employees specifically stated they had coordinated with the gas company the day they dug. Several days after the trench had been dug, the gas company was contacted by us to verify that Cleaver had spoke with them.  That's when we found out indeed they had not. The trench had been open so long and water logged from rain, the gas company could not complete back fill of the trench because it was too muddy. The gas company completed the hook up, redid the trenching and filled it in as best they could when they completed their work.  The road is still torn up.  I agree they did not know, nor were they responsible for accommodating the conduit for the double line.  They didn't provide it anyway, and they failed to communicate with us, did not answer texts or messages and simply did not show up on the day the gas was to be installed.   No change order needs to be done regarding this because someone else already completed the work for us, with exception of repairing damage to the road.   If they would have coordinated with the gas company as they were directed, the gas company would have told them they were running down the main, not a single residence line and the conduit would have needed to be changed.  This would have given them an opportunity to contact us during this change.  As far as the trees, they did not remove them for free.   It shows clearly in the original contract, removal of maple trees and root balls.  We had even specified that in an email to the company prior to any work being done.   The company then threatened to put a lien on our property saying their vendor needed payment for our supplies.  Contact was made with Cleaver and payment was made reluctantly, in full, and they admitted the have not completed their work.  The company said they would call us to resolve the matter, however, they have only sent emails contradicting their original contract, changing wording, trying to justify not completing their work.  We still have open trenches.  Since we need approximately 460 ft of trenching to complete for our residence, their contract saying 500 ft of trenching and pipe seemed as if they understood our needs.  Now they say that they meant a combination of 500 ft of trench and pipe.  Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  If I understand Chris's response, it appears he is willing to discuss this matter with us.   If the complaint can not be resolved between Cleaver and ourselves, I would like to reserve the right to request mediation/arbitration.     Sincerely,[redacted]
