[redacted] contacted me regarding membership and training at Cleber Jiu JitsuI let him know the times of classes and he proceeded to tell me about his situation living in [redacted] came in on the? Monday the 22nd, he signed a "Safety & Liability" form before he stepped on the mat, which every single fitness/martial arts gym doesHowever after the training session [redacted] talked to me & Master Cleber Luciano about possible membership [redacted] asked to "TRY" our facility for few weeks before he can make a decision, however what gym let's you "TRY" out a gym for a few weeks? I then proceeded to tell him we only do year enrollments for everyone of our hundreds of students, then after a year it will go month to monthHowever with [redacted] situation of living as far as he was we made the exception of making his enrollment only for monthsWe then explained to him if the driving situation proves to be too much, and becomes difficult to have this be his gym to let us know with in a few days and we can try working things outHowever again [redacted] proceeded to train for over a month without any problemsBottom line is we stated it was a "month enrollment" and [redacted] proceeded to sign on the dotted lineThere was NO ill intention on our part to have [redacted] be a part of our gym.Regarding [redacted] 's complaint about "MMA" class that I teach on Tues & ThursI teach a optional "Fight Team" practice for fighters only [redacted] was invited to train, however I told him that couple of our guys just fought and will be slow for a couple weeksTo complain about me about him not being able to train is not accurateHe train Bjj and joined us for fight team practice, yes maybe one or two of the days were slowHowever this is not an accurate complain made by [redacted] .Finally he said he came in to quit? However we have no recollection of him doing soIf he had done that we would have told him to email us and give us your reasoning for cancelling his enrollmentThis was not the caseOverall this is an unfortunate situation where [redacted] signed a month enrollment, which he knewIf he wanted to try to cancel the contract he should have contacted us within the next several daysTo feel that it's ok to come in and verbally cancel a membership is beyond this company

[redacted] contacted me regarding membership and training at Cleber Jiu Jitsu. I let him know the times of classes and he proceeded to tell me about his situation living in [redacted]. [redacted] came in on the Monday the 22nd, he signed a "Safety & Liability" form before he stepped on the mat,...

which every single fitness/martial arts gym does. However after the training session [redacted] talked to me & Master Cleber Luciano about possible membership. [redacted] asked to "TRY" our facility for few weeks before he can make a decision, however what gym let's you "TRY" out a gym for a few weeks? I then proceeded to tell him we only do 1 year enrollments for everyone of our hundreds of students, then after a year it will go month to month. However with [redacted] situation of living as far as he was we made the exception of making his enrollment only for 6 months. We then explained to him if the driving situation proves to be too much, and becomes difficult to have this be his gym to let us know with in a few days and we can try working things out. However again... [redacted] proceeded to train for over a month without any problems. Bottom line is we stated it was a "6 month enrollment" and [redacted] proceeded to sign on the dotted line. There was NO ill intention on our part to have [redacted] be a part of our gym.Regarding [redacted]'s complaint about "MMA" class that I teach on Tues & Thurs. I teach a optional "Fight Team" practice for fighters only. [redacted] was invited to train, however I told him that couple of our guys just fought and will be slow for a couple weeks. To complain about me about him not being able to train is not accurate. He train Bjj and joined us for fight team practice, yes maybe one or two of the days were slow. However this is not an accurate complain made by [redacted].Finally he said he came in to quit? However we have no recollection of him doing so. If he had done that we would have told him to email us and give us your reasoning for cancelling his enrollment. This was not the case. Overall this is an unfortunate situation where [redacted] signed a 6 month enrollment, which he knew. If he wanted to try to cancel the contract he should have contacted us within the next several days. To feel that it's ok to come in and verbally cancel a membership is beyond this company.
