I specified  insure the lot for $5,000 paid the additional fees, they arbitrarily applied it to one box, there were two boxes and one small drum. I don't know how the box was damaged, I was not there. To think I did it is nuts.  These people are not speaking the truth and trying to avoid liability.Complaint: [redacted]

My last contact email with [redacted] I had researched the possible cost of his part.  The cost was either $175  or 325 depending on whether it was new or refurbished.  I asked for a receipt or a part number.  His response was that he thought it was worth more. He had said that he had filed the claim with FedEx, so I am waiting for their response.  I will wait for [redacted] to contact me if he needs anything further.    Thank you,

The response is not accurate or acceptable. It was a new part valued at $350. I cannot collect from Federal Express since the shipper is the insured not me .It's been almost 90 days I feel as if they're just giving me the runaround they have my shipping costs and insurance premium I have damaged parts. Not a very reputable company. Complaint: [redacted]

I received a phone call and email on January 12/9/2016.  We received no written letter.  So That was only 2 days ago.  [redacted] was 2 or 3 owners ago for [redacted].  I have owned the business since 2011.  I am sorry for the problems with [redacted]’  shipment....

[redacted] shipped 2 boxes, not 3.  One he requested additional insurance and one he did not.  This was indicated on his receipt as well as in our discussions about shipping  the items.  I have a copy of his receipt attached.  Also, both men seemed to be saying the same thing about how they wanted it shipped and insured.  We offered to file the claim to FedEx about his bent part and requested he send pictures and a receipt or quoted price from a business as to the cost or worth of the part.  He sent one picture but no official price.  He said the part was worth $1500 one time and $800 one time.  But FedEx will want an official document they will not accept a word of mouth price.  They will say the claim is incomplete.    We have no further emails or phone contact from [redacted].  The picture does not indicate the box was crushed or bent.  It looks to be cut open in the center.  It is a very odd way to open the box as well as the box seems to be intact and in good shape.  The part was double bubble wrapped.  (1 Picture attached)  It was also enclosed at both ends.  It was not taped or attached together in the center as [redacted] seems to think.  But the picture will bear that out.  Also the cut to open the box is a very odd way to cut open a package. We can still file the claim with FedEx and see what their response is before we can go much further with this issue.  We are waiting on a price quote from [redacted].
