Lux Remodeling LLC (LUX) received
the above-referenced customer complaint and appreciates the opportunity to
respond. Specifically, [redacted] complains about sheetrock installation that
is likely to crack and charges for supervision that was not...
performed. She is
requesting a refund for items she decided to fix personally.
LUX approved a reduction of $1,520 in the contract price for
work the client deemed to be performed improperly. The contract provided for
supervision cost of $90 per day. LUX capped this supervision costs at sixteen
days which provided the client with additional savings of $2,520. The client
indicated in writing that LUX’s responsibilities were complete and all of the
work was accepted.
Our goal at Lux Remodeling LLC is to ensure every client is
pleased with the work we perform. In order to provide the best general
contracting services possible, LUX provides all client with an online portal to
track schedules, budgets, selections and warranties. We encourage all clients
to first file warranty claims through the online client portal at [redacted]
or in writing via email at [redacted].
We have received no warranty claims from the client.
Customer satisfaction is the foundation of our business. LUX
sincerely regrets any inconvenience these issues may have caused.
