To whom it may concern, Ms*** was initially contacted by our office as a courtesy to her 401(k) plan, where she had a small residual balance which she hadn't adressed She was in fact initially contacted by *** Cox at the request of the plan advisor *** ***
Furthermore, Ms *** did not initiate contact with our office *** then sent the paper work to her and we recieved it back and forwarded to the TPA for further processing Unfortunately, Ms *** had accidently listed her adress incorrectly thus a check was sent to the wrong adress and subsequently lost Upon Ms***'s follow up call, *** *** contacted the TPA, *** pension and let them know of the issue as they distribute all plan assets along with the record keeperWe recieved a follow up from the TPA apx weeks later (due to the holidays) with additional paperwork for Ms*** to sign and return *** promptly forwarded this to the client and this was then returned directly to the TPAUnfortunately, once again Ms *** had filled the paperwork out incorrectly and was missing a witness signature as required by her planYesterday the TPA informed *** of this and said she would contact the client directly for further resolution It is my understanding this has now been resolved and the check request is in the final stages of processing with the record keeper on this planFurthermore, it is my understanding the advisor and TPA have offered to waive the new processing fee and simply are asking the client to pay the stop payment fee on the outstanding check Finally, I believe she will be recieving these funds in the next business days If Ms *** has any additional questions or issues I would urge her to contact me directly at ***.Sincerely,*** *** Registered Principal

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThe information in the response is not completely accurate as I did give *** *** my current and correct address the first time. In my many years of dealing with 401K and 3rd party companies regarding cash out distributions they have never taken over months to complete. The mention of prompt return calls and service was mention but never happened. Yes they initially contacted me about a balance that I had not roll over or taken care of but that seemed severely irrelevant to their slacking, rudeness and lack of communication on the vast amount of paperwork I always responded with and returned immediately. I have no desire to deal with this company again nor its affiliates and will make sure that anyone I know not to either. I find it the final blow that the "Registered Principal", Mr*** is the person to respond to my complaint and the he is exceedingly redundant in the response not to mention can not even try to accurately spell my name correctly. It is a reflection on the business's incompetence itself. Have a nice day
