Review: This store claims to be going out of business and offers up to 90% off on "genuine leather" "Tolblanc Paris" handbags. Prices on their tags were $500 to $900. I was told the bags were genuine leather and this was imprinted inside the bag. I fell for the scam and paid $65.31 ($59.99 plus tax) for a handbag. The store offers absolutely no refunds or exchanges whatsoever. When I came home and [redacted] the brand, I discovered that there is no such brand -- that these are cheap made-in-China bags that use only man-made materials. There are complaints all over the web about this scam. I bought from a store called Inroze but the bags also have been sold by a store called [redacted] on [redacted] and another called Cleo & Patek in SoHo.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on the total price I paid for this bag. If the store would like me to return it, I would also like a refund on the cost to ship it back to New York from Canada.

Review: While visiting NYC on 1/**/14, saw store sign saying "store closing 90% discount." Bought two bags, one a "Tuciitalia brand" and the other , a tolblanc Paris" brand. Both say they are genuine leather. After I left

the store I googled the brands and saw that the brands are not existing brands, and that the bags are not Italian or French made. I inspected the bags closely and they do not appear to be real leather. Furthermore I learned from old posts that the store is not closing in the near future and indeed the same signs have been on the storefront for years.Desired Settlement: Store will be honest

1. Remove "Store Closing Sign"

2. Remove " genuine leather tag" and replace with " man made materials" sign if indeed my impression of the bags not being leather is correct.

3. Make clear to customers that brands are theirs and bags are not made in France or Italy.

4. If their actions are illegal, that they be charged as is appropriate according to the law.

Review: This store had nice purses on display. I tried out several and selected one to purchase. The store clerk, [redacted], was chatty and I shard that I was from out of town and leaving that day. She took the purse I selected behind the counter to wrap up. When I returned home, I realized that she had switch the purse I selected with a very, very, very cheap knock-off (worse than the kind you buy from the guys on the street corners in NY). I called immediately and she hung up on me. I called 2 days later and asked to speak to a manager. The clerk ([redacted]), refused to give me the manager's name or number, but said she would tell [redacted] to have him call me. I have not received a call. I have also filed a dispute with my credit card company.Desired Settlement: First, a full refund. Second, I would like someone to catch these people perpetrating the fraud (would be easy as I still have the crap purse with the tag on it) and shut them down before they can steal from more unsuspecting tourists.

Review: I bought a handbag that said "genuine leather" but it is not made of leather. I did not notice this until getting home. Looking online, numerous other customers have complained about this. I went back to the store and complained to the salesperson. I asked to speak with the manager or owner. They would not let me. So I contacted my credit card company. They contacted Cleo & Patek Paris, who simply said that all sales were final so they would not refund my money. I understand that signs said "all sales final" but they lied about what they were selling, which should invalidate that rule. This business seems to be getting around various rules by closing stores and opening new ones under new names. Please stop them from selling products that are not what they claim to be.Desired Settlement: 1. I would like my money back since the product is not what it was claimed to be. 2. I would like this store to be shut down so that they cannot keep lying to new customers.

Review: The signs on their window advertise a going out of business sale for Italian leather handbags, stating that everything is 90% off. The price tag indicated that the product I purchased - a "leather" handbag - was originally worth $899.99 and was now 90% off for a total of $97.97 (with tax). The sales slip says no returns. The store is not going out of business and the bag is NOT actually leather and is not made it Italy. When I pulled out the paper stuffing, the tag inside says "Made in China." It is a well-done knock-off advertised as a genuine article of quality. I had no idea a store could lie like that to lure in customers, and then lie to your face about what their product is made of... or at least the premise of what you are getting. I'm sure they know exactly what they are doing and I happened to fall for it, but it is a terrible practice. They won't take the bag back or issue a refund. There are other complains about this business that I only found after I was suckered in.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money and would gladly return the bag. More importantly, I think it is wrong and deceitful to lie as a business practice to attract customers (regardless of whether the customer should be the wiser). It is a terrible way to do business and they should be held accountable to the honesty that other businesses must practice.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

It is worth noting that I went to the store to return the item and the first woman I spoke with staunchly refused to give me a refund. She was very rude and walked away from me. Fortunately, there was another woman in the store who took the time to call the store owner to confirm the refund. I signed a credit card refund receipt and will consider this matter resolved when I see the refund on my credit card statement. As of 6:30 pm today (10/**/13), the refund has not been processed. If I do not see the refund within 48 hours, I will continue to pursue this complaint, as now I have returned the merchandise.

I sincerely appreciate your time and the prompt attention you have given to this matter.
