Review: Saleswoman claimed that the purse I was buying was "genuine calf leather" and that it was 90% off because they were closing that day. She said they were closing down and would be opening up somewhere else in the city later on. When I checked online I found multiple complaints of a saleswoman at this store using the "90% off closing today" false advertising, as well as false advertising about the materials of the purses for sale. The bag I bought is NOT genuine calf leather and I doubt anything in the store is genuine.Desired Settlement: Full refund to credit card.
Review: I went into the store because it said "90% off." I went in, and was told that a bag I bought was "genuine leather" and was "discounted by 90% from $799 to $79."
The woman who sold me the item told me that the store was going out of business.
When I got home, I looked at the bag. It is not leather. It is made of either polyurethane or cheap plastic. I called the store to tell them this, and the woman on the phone said "It is not my responsibility if the bag isn't leather. The label says what it says." I did some research online. There is no company called "[redacted]," which is what the bag says. I looked inside the bag and it says it was made in China. The bag says Paris and the inside says "made in China." That's a real lie right there.
When I told her that I wanted to come in for a refund, the woman on the phone said that not only was the bag's material not her responsibility, but that they don't allow refunds, only exchanges. Why would I want to exchange one shoddy product for another?Desired Settlement: I would like a refund as soon as possible.

Review: Was told over and over the purse that I bought for $50. Was genuine leather but is made in China plastic.I called the store and was hung up on. Very rude and DIS honest sales clerk.Desired Settlement: $54.00 refund . I will return the tolblanc plastic purse
