I am writing in response to the complaint filed by *** *** With regards to what he hasstated, my business does not operate the way he explainedWhen someone brings in a vehicle to be worked on, a work order is created for the customer to sign to agree to have their vehicle looked at and
agrees to pay any charges incurred which is explainedWe do not do anything ona cash basis or COD as he expressedNor would any tires have been taken off one car and then be sold to another customerThat being said we have gone through our records and there is no record of him having any work done to a vehicle since April If work was done by his"friend" as he referred to him, it was done on his own time and not on company time. The charge that he incurred was the standard lift charge to look at a vehicle and will not be refundedIf he would like to come in and have the exhaust pipe and tires looked at and/or repaired he is free to do so but there will be a charge for it.Any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me at ***.Sincerely,Joseph ***, President

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.     SO, JOE company president, maybe you better start making sure that ALL your employees know EXACTLY what you expect of them. You weren't there, I specifically asked the cashier why I was signing the paper, she told me EXACTLY it was just for allowing  the mechanic to drive my car. I already told the Revdex.com in my 1st statement that if I knew there was a charge just to have my car looked at, I would have left immediately. For her to lie to me omitting to tell me there was a minimum charge when I specifically asked her why I was signing, It should have been told to me then and there, and apparently, you never saw the paperwork I copied and emailed the Revdex.com where it showed there was no charge in the 1st line of that invoice with all the other charges for work that they said was needed to be done on my car. I have since gone to a REPUTABLE shop/business, and they told me my front brakes were like new, and did not need them. My rear brakes have been replaced, and I SAW the pads that were taken off the car. all 4 rotors were like new as well, and the estimate showed at your place they needed replacing. another lie to me for work your business wanted me to pay for uneeded service, and parts/labor.     Apparently you are a bit too trusting, but I believe your dishonest.  if you were there that day, you would have seen everything that happened, I also witnessed you have a video security system, you take and look at the video of the date and time I was there listen to what was said. that would be video proof of what I told in truth, YES THE TRUTH . You are trying to cover up, or try to put one over on the Revdex.com, but you can't fool me or the Revdex.com. I was there, first hand. and to be PERFECTLY CLEAR, I was there during regular business hours every time it was on company time, not lunch, not personal time or his day off. I have had Jason look at my car, also fix my car. I'm not trying to get him in trouble, but you get your facts straight. I DID purchase 3 used tires from YOUR take off's from I do not know whose car. The person who should have addressed or be questioned about this should be Jason, about the pipe he installed that day he ordered  from [redacted], just down the street from YOUR Cleveland/Beach rd location, The A Z at the corner of Union rd. and Cleveland drive. and the tire guy working at the time. Those were told to me were take off's in the junk tire bin, who I not only paid him for the 3 tires, but to mount and balance them too.          In closing, I don't make things up out of the blue, I have always been honest with everyone, This complaint would have never happened if I was originally told there was a charge to look at my car. I want everyone to know how unfairly, and dishonest I was treated as 'A VALUED CUSTOMER' by the CLEVE-HILL AUTO SERVICE CENTER at Cleveland rd. and Beach rd. and ultimately, their president who doesn't know the TRUE facts in this instance, or does know them and is covering them up to try to make his business appear to be reputable. my complaint stands. YOU ARE DISHONESTas far as your statement goes 'We do not do anything on a cash basis or COD as he expressed. Nor would any tires have been taken off one car and then be sold to another customer. That being said we have gone through our records and there is no record of him having any work done to a vehicle since April 2013'  DUH I told you there was no paperwork because it was cash in hand. not only to Jason, but the tire guy they have or had working for them at the time, and to add, I sat in the car the whole time I was there when the pipe was done, and the tires were mounted and balanced too.
