To Whom It May Concern:
We were called out to *** rental property to diagnosis an issue with his refrigeratorUpon
arrival our technician found the fan operational and the compressor extremely hot to the touch and showing open legThese symptoms indicated a failed compressor and we diagnosed it as such(Please see the attached Invoice)
*** called us on June 29, (days later), requesting a complete refund, stating that a "friend" of his replaced the fan and the unit is functioningHe never provided any other detailed information regarding the repair other than a friend performed it
We are delighted that he was able to get it working, but we still stand by the fact that the compressor is badIt may run for a period of time after cooling, but it will fail because of the damage caused by excessive heat

Issue 1: Timeliness of resolving the issue is substandardYou shouldn't give customers the runaround
Issue 2: Just because the compressor is overheating does not mean it is badThe fan is an important part of the system and prevents overheatingNow that a new fan has been installed the compressor is no longer overheating and the fridge is working properly so how can you say the compressor is still faulty without actually looking at it now?
Issue 3: All appliances fail after a period of timeIf your technicians really knew what the problem was then they would have given us the option to fix the fan yet with the understanding that the compressor may fail soon
Issue 4: You aren't paying attention to the detailsI said my renters fixed the fridge, not a friendAlso spell my last name correctly, it's right above!!
Ruby Mountain HVAC is dishonest and incompetentNo one in Elko County should use them less they want an improper diagnosis and want to get ripped off

Upon further review we wish to apologize for the issue and inconvenienceWe are refunding the customer the $diagnose feeHowever, upon arrival the fan was operational which indicated that the fan was not the problemWe did not recommend anything that would monetarily enhance the company financial even though we thought the compressor was bad
Due to the customer's unhappiness with the diagnosis, we are happy to have refunded him the $diagnosis fee
