I have received the complaint, [redacted]. I have read through the complaint and want to give the full and accurate timeline of events along with supporting documents. The customer first contacted us about the transmission in question on September 14, 2017. The customer was questioning normal things:...

price, shipping cost, warranty, ect. The customer called back that same day (12:30 p.m.)  to order the transmission. We then promoted this to an order and proceeded to process the order. The transmission was palletized the same day and then the customer was billed out. A shipping company was contacted to arrange for pick up and delivery. The Transmission left that evening and arrived in Minnesota, at the customers mechanic of choice, September 15, 2017.At the time of the sale warranties were talked about and in addition our complete warranty is located on the back of our invoice. An invoice is included with every order that is sent out directly to one of our customers. I have attached a copy for your records. On the front of the invoice it states that reverse side has all of our warranty information. On the back of our invoice the first two sentences clearly state our warranty, Cleveland Auto warranties all parts to be free from defects that cause the product to fail under normal application and use for 90 days from the purchase date. There is no labor or customer compensation covered under warranty unless stated in writing on the front of this invoice.Located below the complete warranty section, in bold, it states, Your acceptance and payment for part states your agreement to the above warranties, terms, and conditions of sale.Our warranty is not unusual in our industry. Most Auto Recyclers offer an identical warranty with regards to when the warranty starts; at the time of sale. If you would like examples of that I would be happy to make them available for you.The warranty period for this customer expired December 12, 2017.I look forward to hearing form you.
