We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find many of the statements are and incorrect statementsThe sink was NOT "glued" to the granite top and the two side boards installed under the counter top to a line the sink to the sink's opening were off centered. At the request of Kim L***, Owner, we sent several pictures displaying the "misfit" of the sink along with a video demonstrating the moving of the sinkWhen the installer caulked counter top to the two (2) side pieces he wet his "finger" by mouth and "smooth out" the caulk which was mentioned to Kim L on August 7thPlease know we did speak w/Kim L and agreed to scheduled an appointment for August 5th to allow Cleveland Granite & Marble the opportunity to correct the problem but no one ever showed up!@! This was after calling and confirming w/Kim L the day of the appointment. At this point we were completely convinced we did not want to do any more business with Cleveland Granite & Marble Company and on Thursday, August 6th we contacted Kim Land informed her of our decision and requested a refund of $Kim L stated before she could authorize a refund she asked if we could send pictures, which we did along with the video mentionedOn August 7th Kim Ldid authorize the $refund and therefore this complaint can be closedFYI - We found another installer to complete the job!! Thank you for taking the time to investigate this issue and please know the service you provide is VERY valuable -

Fax: 216-241-7678ATTN: *** ***From: Kimberly K*** Date: August I8, 2015Re: Complaint # *** Pages: [Including this cover page]cc:Customer during initial complaint stated that the sink was not adhered to the granite and the plumber couldnot hook up the plumbing because it was too thickGranite is thicker than Formica and generally plumbers are aware of this and have extensions in orderto hook up the plumbing, so we told her that the plumber just needed the extensions to install thefaucetWhen we spoke to our installer he said that it was caulked to the granite that she watched them duringthe entire installation, and in her phone conversation with Kim L*** she slated at that time that shewatched them put caulk around the sinkI believe that maybe the customer was unaware that thecaulk that was used is not only for caulking but is the adhesive as wellThe customer came to our offices on FridayAugust and after a few minutes it was evident thatthe only solution to make the customer happy was to give her a refund of $which she stated tothe Salesperson in the initial complaintl issued the customer a refund of $on Check#*** which was presented and paid on August and l have attached a copy of the cleared check to this fax.The customer seemed satisfied with the check and I assumed this wasn't an issue anymore, as she has notcontacted anyone since that time except the Revdex.comIt there is some other issuewe have not been contactedagain so I am not aware at anything else that the customer is unhappy about.If you have any further questionsor need any other information please do not hesitate in contacting me.Regards, Claudio U***Controller
