Review: On October 28th, 2014 I was having trouble with my internet connection, I called [redacted], and was therefor3 I was transfered to technical support(click 4 support), I was told by the sales rep. I had a virus on my network, because my network did not have security, he said he would clean up the virus, and secure my network for life, he charged me $799.00, and would take care of it. I feel I have been mislead in beliving I needed this service. I called back and wanted a full refund, but he only refuned $300.00.Desired Settlement: Full refund!!

Review: I got a computer about a week ago and got a printer. I sat down to try and install the software. I was having a hard time. It is a [redacted] printer and it gives you a web address. I went to the website and the first website that came up was help with installing the software. There was a toll free number, which I called. I believe the people I was talking to were probably not in country. I spoke to a guy named Kaka. I told him what was going on and he said he could help me. He told me to go to logmein123.com and gave them access to them computer. He proceeded to show me my computer had been compromised and someone had been trying to gain access to my information. He was very determined to sell me on the fact that I needed my computer to be cleaned up by them for $398. I gave them my name, e-mail, address, phone, and VISA. They took over my computer and were moving my cursor around on my computer. They sent me an e-mail with the invoice and other information afterwards. There was no name or physical address for the company. I googled the company and found many reports of fraudulent actions by this company and found out it was not legitimate. I took the computer, yesterday morning, to a local computer shop to be cleaned.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back.

Review: I don't know how much customer records have being leaked to those scams from the company called Click4support. I was introduced by [redacted] tech support to Click4support that is doing PC/Laptop tech support business in USA. Then I purchased a one-year service contract from this company for my home PCs/laptops tech-support and virus protection last December 2013. But recently (since this May) I've received many phone calls everyday (even in the midnight) from a group of people declared from Click4support. They knew the exact date and amount I paid. They claimed to refund half of the amount to me and asked me to fill out a form with all credit card and personal information.I immediately figured out they are fraud scheme. Then I reported to Click4support four times already with the phone number and names from scam people, but Click4support had never seriously responded to me although every time they promised to investigate and get back to me during last two months. So I called them today (7/26/2014) and was told by the Manager called Akash from Billing department. He acted as the owner of the company in New Delhi India but he told me that he did report to India government but couldn't do anything for customers in USA. And he asked me to report to U.S. Law Enforcement agencies with the scam's phone number for him (for free of cause). Now I completely lose confidence with this company since they took my money but couldn't protect my private sensitive data (actually leaked out). Even worse, it seems they are incapable to deal with this issue in a right way. I believe Revdex.com should take action to protect U.S consumers' right to stop this kind of company operating in USA.Desired Settlement: I talked to a guy - Akash today and requested the full refund since they had failed to protect my private data & customer's records. But he rejected to refund to me. Also didn't willing to take any further action to resolve this issue. Obviously they couldn't stop the scam calls and I still have to receive disruptive calls everyday. The scam's phone number is ###-###-####.

Review: On or around August 24th-26th, 2013 I purchased a 100% guaranteed protective plan agreement for my ** Desk Top with Click4support, in which they promised to protect and maintain the computer's functioning and etc., I have not been able to operate the computer satisfactorily without interruptions from outside sources and receiving error messages constantly such as for i.e.; "You are not connected to thee Internet, etc.," I am constantly reporting this problem at least one - three times per month and sometimes Click4support have pressured me to close the case without receiving customer satisfaction on numerous occasions. The cost of this unsatisfactorily service cost: $498.00, with 30-day money back warranty...Desired Settlement: Customer satisfaction....that is all.

Review: Was looking for [redacted] Support and [redacted] it. What came up was [redacted] Tech Support. Called the number provided. At no time did the Tech inform me that he was from Click 4 Support. He proceeded to access my pc to help fix some pop up issues. He then showed me several areas on my NEW pc that had viruses. He intimidated me into and conned me into thinking that I was at severe risk for all of my devices being compromised. He then said the charge was 398.00 which I paid. He recommended since I had 15 devices in my home that I purchase a liftime security for all of those devices. at a cost of 499.00 and 1499.00 (2000.00) . I have met all the requirements for a refund and they refuse to give my money back. This company uses fraudulant marketing practices and only after 48 minutes into the call did he ever say Click 4 Support.

The person in billing informed me that his Technician did not say he was from [redacted]. Upon hearing this I called again and was told that yes they were affiliated with [redacted]. I have since contacted [redacted] and was assured that they are in no way any part of [redacted].Desired Settlement: I will pay 398.00 for their "services" which was 2 software programs .... But I want a refund for the 2000.00 lifetime security.

Review: I am writing to you (and individually writing to the CEO of Click4Support, and, the pending credit card charge dispute representative) to complain of a non-satisfactory fulfillment of service by Click4Support, and of questionable sales practices of products that are pushed upon consumers with fear tactics, out and out lies of purporting to represent blue chip companies as the “technical support” of those companies, and, leaving a consumer’s computer at risk or even damaging the computer instead of “fixing” it.

In this incident, on 9/6/2014, I started seeing pop ups in frequency on my laptop as I was trying to find out why I was having so many interruptions on line. I had looked into downloading the [redacted] virus protection and a “pop up” box appeared, with Click4Support phone number on it, appearing visually and in concept to have a relationship with [redacted] (and thus it was a trusted contact number in my mind). I called the number at 12:30 am on 09/07/2014 and was kept on the phone until 2:00 am. I was told by a “senior certified [redacted] technician” (those exact words – I took copious notes while this session was unfolding) that I needed to install firewalls to prevent hacking into my computer via the internet. I was under duress and agreed for the Click4Support team of technicians – I was passed off to no less than 4 of them – to access my computer and then they proceeded to “show” me the lines and lines of text where “supposedly” my computer was “exposed” because of the lack of firewall protection and that they wanted me to purchase 1) first – a $999 package to clean up the laptop of Trojan virus that had shown hacking (which I agreed to reluctantly because I was led to believe that hackers out “there” were into my I.P. address and the Click4Support were purporting themselves as representatives of reputable companies; and then, near the end of the 3 hour phone call; they kept running (what I now believe to be bogus lines of software code that they just run to scare people on their screens) the notepad remote function on my laptop and were telling me that hackers were intercepting as “man in the middle” and getting into my computer and that those hackers would be able to access my private information. The salesman near the end of the session upsold in aggressive tactics and told me that the previous sale of the $999 of service for getting rid of the virus was not going to be ‘enough’, that I needed the increased 1 year of technical support that would block and make the make the blocking of the hackers’ activities “permanent” so I would not have anyone able to get to my I.P. address. This was going to cost me $1499 for that service. I was led to believe by the representative that there was absolutely no hometown computer technician that could fix my problem by taking a look at my laptop and cleaning up the viruses, that it was an “internet” problem and that I needed a permanent solution or that I would be at risk of identity theft, people looking into my computer, etc. – a whole barrage of scare tactics were used to push me to again – reluctantly -agree to the ‘service’ and the charge of $1499. I agreed to the charge verbally and gave them my credit card information. Immediately upon hanging up after the long and arduous 4 hour call, I looked into the Click4Support reviews and had immediately realized that I had been scammed for services that I did not need and that were probably “invented” to take my money. I immediately asked my credit card company to change my credit card account by closing the current one, and then opening up a new one.

On top of all this, I did start getting phone calls from Click4Support ‘representatives’ to check on the status of my satisfaction with the “service”. I was NOT satisfied, as even after having Click4Support installing the [redacted] antivirus software on 09/07/2014, that day, I was still experiencing pop ups. And, by the way, the Click4Support rep was not installing the free software that was offered by [redacted], they were installing the pay-for version.

I was for the next two days not able to call back the Click4Support representatives because of a busy work schedule and, unfortunately, on 9/10/2014, I landed in the Emergency Room with some stroke signs and ultimately I was indisposed because I had a brain tumor operation, followed up by some lung puncture complications that kept me in the hospital until release 09/28/2014. It was at the time that I returned home that I was finally catching up with the credit card charges and the dissatisfaction with the Click4Support ‘services’ provided. I called my credit card company to dispute the charges (which were made on 9/20/2014 even though the ‘service’ was performed on 9/06/2014). I am currently in dispute process with the credit card company and my charges are temporarily pending – both the $999 and the $1499. A few days after I was home from the hospital, my laptop went into the “blank black screen” mode and I was not able to use it. I ended up taking it to a technician in my hometown and they ran a mechanical (that was fine) and software (that was NOT fine) diagnostic test. They said that I had eight “very nasty” Trojan viruses on the laptop and they cleaned them off the hard drive and were able to save my data. I was charged $100. In essence, the Click4Support technicians said that they fixed the problem of ‘viruses’, but in fact, they did not and the viruses still existed on my laptop.Desired Settlement: For resolution, I would like to receive a FULL REFUND for $999 AND for $1499, a total of $2,498, to be credited back to my credit card. I am writing to you, the Revdex.com, also to the email address that was provided by Click4Support to report on satisfaction or dissatisfaction direct to the company, and also to my credit card company to continue the dispute process. As of today, both of my charges are still pending with my credit card company. If I do not hear of a resolution within the next seven days from Click4Support (deadline is 10/19/2014), I will register an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
