To [redacted],Complain ID# [redacted]. This letter is in response to the complaint of [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] cleaned the [redacted] home. Our maids are very responsible. We never had a complaint about stealing with any of our maids. The home of [redacted]...

[redacted] was almost empty; we don't know if [redacted] was moving out or in the home. [redacted] cleaning service for a 2 bedroom home was on 07/16/2014 at 4:30 pm. When the cleaning crew arrived, [redacted] showed them the home. After that, [redacted] waited outside the home in the staircase. The cleaning itself was done quickly, about an hour, because the home was almost completely empty. There was a mattress on the floor of one of the bedrooms and few cups/containers in the kitchen sink. It is part of our procedure to ask our customers to check the cleaning of the home before the crew leaves. The crew complied with this procedure and asked [redacted] to check the home and if everything was as her expectations; [redacted] checked the home and was pleased with the job. When the crew asked [redacted] to come inside and check. [redacted] went inside her home with her friend. After two days of the cleaning service, [redacted] reached our company explaining that the earrings that she left over the kitchen counter are missing. As [redacted] describes the earrings, they are very noticeable; the crew didn’t see or vacuumed any earrings. .' We contacted and informed our insurance. I am rejecting this response because:
The home was far from empty.  It is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse.  2 of 3 bedrooms were furnished as was the complete downstairs.  The reason the cleaning was 1 hour, is because that is what I paid for, a 2 hour cleaning.  
The cleaning was at 3:30, not 4:30. I did file a police report and claim against the company.  However, I had to chase the option to file a claim and it took almost 2 weeks to find out the proper channels.  I think the company is behaving in a lax manner and doesn't seem to care.  Their consistent response is that my home is empty, which is untrue.  
Hopefully this will be resolved through the insurance company.

Review: Maid theft. A pair of solid gold earrings that were passed down to me from my mother were missing after the cleaning. Customer service was not helpful. They suggested I file a police report. I was given this advice two weeks after I originally contacted them, and submitted a claim to them,Desired Settlement: I would like a refund or replacement of my missing property.
