Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: Cost not fully refunded as company states in their responsePlease read my full response in the attached RTF file.The response to my complaint, 12707875, from clickshades.com is not entirely factualWhile the description and type of the prescription lenses is accurate the reason they were needed at all was ignoredMy order on 12/15/was for new frames and to have the old lenses I sent them placed into the new (same model) frameThey LOST the old pair they received from me and that was the ONLY reason they were obligated to recreate the prescription lenses! This took days, that's two months and days! There is NO logical reason for that long of a period to pass between order and receipt from a company that runs an optical businessI shipped them my old glasses with a broken stem in a hard case and a shipping boxThey sent me my new glasses, received 3/3/18, wrapped in bubble wrap and in a cardboard mailer! days and you can't send them out in a hard case?!Dan Peters, in his replay said "We have sent a full no charge replacement pair of glasses to you..." and also "We delivered this to you free of charge..." .Those are statements! I have not seen,to date nor pending on my charge card, a credit of $which broken down is $for the frames ordered and $shipping cost! If that credit is issued then the two quotes from his response would be true, till then they are false! The difficulties I underwent during that time because I had to wear a backup pair of glasses with a weaker prescription were immenseI would not wish this experience on anyone, being ignored with no communications is disheartening. Thanks for your offer to reopen my case but Clickshades has resolved the issue to my satisfaction.  Frankly, if it wouldn’t have been for your office, I doubt that we would have reached an amicable settlement.  Thank you!

We are very sorry for the problems with this order. We have sent a full no charge replacement pair of glasses to you shipped 03/01/2018. USPS Tracking # 94[redacted]67. The glasses had a prescription for Progressive lenses with photochromic and Antireflective treatments. We delivered...

this to you free of charge ( Value $500). This glasses were designed exactly as your prescription was written. Once again, we apologize for this problem. Error were made and we rectified the problem as best as possible. Dan Peters
