I received a call from this company trying to collect on a payday loan taken out in 2013.
This company is claiming to be collecting for a loan taken out in 2013. When I advised them that I had paid back more than the legal amount for our state which is $300, she advised me I had started paying a collection company which in turn restarted the loan again. I explained to her the statue of limitations of 4 years here in california, and she said that is incorrect and their company still had the right to sue for possible criminal and civil in the courts. She also had personal information for me, but would not provide information for their company.
I would like this company who ever they are to get rid of any and all personal information on myself, as well as to not contact me by phone tryibg to collect on something that is over 7 plus years old with threats of legal tactics.
