I am rejecting this response because: Here is my response.   Cliff replaced the 2 ton unit with a 3 ton unit and indicate that it was for an addition. However that addition was previously added to the dwelling long before we moved in.   They added two returns that they said would improve air flow however you will see with the attached pictures that they compromised the original return size and made it a size that two companies admitted are contributing to the lack of air/heat we were getting.  The return they put into the master bedroom is actually in the hall and not in the room itself.  When they were installing these we inquired why it was so far away and was told it would be more efficient to keep the run in a straight line.   As for the freon we did pay the $278.00 when the first 3 ton unit they installed began to leak freon.   For the 2nd unit to have the same issue within 18 months of them installing it seems to be a defect in their equipment as both Winters and Tri-County Aire state that you should not have a freon leaking out of the system.   For the last unit that was installed they stating that we refused the indoor unit.  I nor my husband was there during the install.  My husband was in the hospital and I was there with him.   Both my father-in-law and brother-in-law know the owner Cliff personally and had they been informed that we needed a indoor unit when they where in the house in February when it was 58 degrees I very seriously doubt that they would have paid to have another outdoor unit installed not to mention one that failed and had the same freon leaking issue just slightly over a year later and to admit that there was not a unit to match what we had yet they installed one that did not match the indoor unit thus causing it to completely fail.  There is also a picture of the thermostat dated August 2014 when the first 3 ton unit was leaking freon (over a pound had to be installed) and a third callback showed the thermostat set at 67 and the temp of the house was 80 and the tech said it felt cool to him.   Cliff's continued to out a bandaid on a large wound and how they could continue to install outdoor units knowing they are suppose to be the professionals is beyond me and the fact that when the new indoor unit is installed, the duct work repaired and correct size installed the outdoor unit which has not been ran since early this year may still need to be replaced.  [redacted]

had a complaint that the house never cooled properly. The system we removed was a 2 ton system, and was replaced with the 3 ton system. This was due to the fact that there was an addition added to the home. We also added an additional return to that area (the addition).Everything Worked fine until We were called out for the system not cooling. The system was low on refrigerant. It had a leak at the outdoor unit. This system is an RA-22 system with the refrigerant being anywhere from $75,00 to $95.00 a pound. We told the homeowner that the outdoor coil was out of warranty and it would cost more to repair the American Standard unit then to replace it. At the time American Standard had no more R-22 outdoor units to match to their system, so the only option was a different brand then the indoor, or replace in indoor unit and the outdoor unit, in which they chose to replace only the outdoor unit. Then a year later We came out and found a leak at the indoor unit, and told then that it needed to be replaced. We charged the system and they never paid for it. Everything that we installed was installed properly. I can'tcontrol the Warranty that is on the equipment. We did everything. We could to Work with this homeowner.Sincerely,Clifford S[redacted]
