Please note I am amending my request for damages to $for the unsuccessful ac repair and $for the ceiling damage for a total of $
As per Climate Controllers request I am attaching before and after pictures of the ceiling damage and the invoice from the contractor who repaired the ceilingWhen I initially got an estimate for the ceiling repair I was told that it would be a "minimum of $150" and that it would probably be moreOnce he came out the contractor informed us that we were very lucky that the damage was not worse and that he would be able to repair the ceiling for $
As to his suggestion that the damage to my ceiling was caused by water leakage previous to their repair- There was no water leakage prior to this company working on the coils in my atticWe have been in the attic as well as other inspectors and there was no leakageClimate controllers also did not report any leakage when they were in my attic
As to Climate Controllers accusation that I am a "swindler" who wants a new ac unit- I am not now or have I ever asked for a new unitI only wanted the unit we have repaired properly with no additional damage caused by the repairmenI find it interesting that I am being called a swindler by a company that collected $for repairs they did not do that dayHad the ac worked properly that day, they would not have refunded any money
I have never before filed a complaint with the Revdex.comI also have never taken a company to small claims court or contacted the state licensing board- which are the next steps I am prepared to take if I am unable to solve this issue through this venue

home warranty as well as our company that there would be a "non-covered" costs of $839.00 to the homeowner .   The homeowner agreed to go forward with this repair and paid her non-covered costs by credit card  after the job was completed, we ended up refunding $250.00, check #1272, for materials we didn't end up needing for this repair.   This check was cashed.    In this answer I request to see a paid invoice from a licensed general contractor whom the homeowner claims to have contracted to do the repair in question,  repair to her ceiling due to water damage.  I also request a breakdown of all material and labor used for this repair.  In addition, I would like to request "before and after" pictures showing date and time of repairs.     We know she had issues with her a/c as we were there for a repair. What's to say the water leakage we came upon didn't cause the eventual damage that now she is requesting us to pay for.  This lady from all accounts is a "swindler".   Please note, as a courtesy to the homeowner and which was not within the scope of the job we were there to do, my technician found the dripping of condensation from a pvc pipe in the attic.  I had my technician seal the pvc pipe.  I believe this customer is trying to get a new air conditioning system for free with the filing of this complaint. I will wait for a response. [redacted]Climate Controllers
