This past summer, our original aluminum siding had finally given up After many years, one storm finally left it horribly dented and some pieces holding on by all of one nail We knew we were going to file a claim to get it replaced but wanted to make sure we had the right people for the job first Being familiar with the building industry ourselves, we are VERY particular There were many people that came to our door to get our business but none seemed invested in their work quite the way Tom, the claims rep, did He made a very good first impression with my husband, who challenged him multiple times with not only getting a number of referrals, but also to please meSome of my requests included pictures of homes in various colors, larger samples, and a TON of hard pressed questionsThis was a process I had been dragging my feet on because it is such a large project We met with Tom a handful of times, which he patiently kept doing, before we finally signed to go forward Once signing, they handled filing the claim with our insurancewhich is great because we were very busy at the time and to be perfectly honest, I did not want to do myself We met Jason, the supervisor, next He came out to do a full inspection days before the adjustor came to do his own The morning the adjustor came, he was there well before and ready to do the walk with him It was a very quick process and when I spoke to the adjustor, he even said how helpful Jason was with what he had already prepared With that, we were ready to go and approved for sides, gutters and downspouts This gave us the ability to cover the entire house We had a lot of little details/requests we wanted addressed We were willing to pay for additional services, like fascia, out of pocket if necessary as well Tom walked the entire house with us to make note of our requestsThe day of siding/fascia installation, it went VERY smoothly Johnny, the foreman, was AWESOME and everyone was incredibly respectful The attention to detail was more than we had expected and ALL our requests were reviewed and met After, we had a totally new house in a great new color! As with any construction project, there are always little hiccups The Sunday following, a piece of siding was sagging and came looseEVERYONE was out within the hour to fix it properly and reassure their work We appreciated the fact that they were on it immediately and we were not pushed off into the business week for their convenience We have had no other issues Our gutters were installed the following week by an outside company they worked with I was not as happy with this crew, they were a bit careless while they were removing the guttersThere were a few cosmetic things were were not thrilled with but again, a few hiccups and everything was immediately addressed and fixed In the end, we were happy with the work Immediately following our job, and respected opinion, they began working with a NEW company who came and did a great job on our neighbor’s home only a few weeks later A few of our roof tiles were ripped during the gutter installation also but Jason found an exact match and had them replaced as soon as possible In the end, we were VERY pleased with Climate Zone Tom and Jason are great to work with and we have been referring them to everyone in our neighborhood Our neighbor was signing on before our job was even complete In all, they made it a painless processmaybe not so much for Tom and Jason because we were not easy! I’m happy to give them a great review and hope it is helpful to anyone considering using them for their homesI would absolutely recommend them
