Shane from Climatech Heating and Cooling called me minutes before he was due to arrive Very pleasant, explained what he was doing and changed the two down stairs filters that I had purchased Went into the attic and said the large expensive filter did not need to be changed Went under the house for the HVAC unit there are said things were fine in both units Friendly and I assume well trained based on his comments

The technician who came to check on our malfunctioning a/c system was CaryHe was trying to determine the reason our coolant had leaked out of the system after having been recharged just a few days earlierHe diagnosed the problem very quickly but proceeded to deliver the bad news, that our entire system would need to be replacedBad news indeed! However, he returned to his truck where he made some inquiries (by cellphone, I presume) and returned with the GOOD news that our system was, unbeknownst to us, still under warranty (with just a few weeks remaining!) We had purchased the home new years earlier and were not aware that the builder had added the warranty, so thanks to Cary, we are spared the substantial expense of a new systemFor that, we could not be more grateful! Thank you to Cary and to Climatec for having a professional and diligent technician on their staff

*** with Climatech stopped in this AM for his Bi-Annual heating/ cooling inspection/ tune up*** was right on time as usual*** treats me like he's known me forever and that's very appreciatedI tend to keep an eye on persons doing any kind of service work for me on anything and based off what I can see and tell *** treats my HVAC system as if it's his ownI would highly recommend Climatech for all your HVAC needs

One time we had a tech come out that we did not find acceptable The company has since made sure the techs are suitable for our situation Shane was here yesterday and he was thorough, competent and very clear on what he found in each unit He also was gracious in replacing a lightbulb in the crawl space and turning off the dehumidifier as winter has arrived Shane is a fine representative of the company I will add that we are a retired couple and with health problems in the past two years, we appreciate very much the extra care and effort which a tech like Shane can provide
