This is a respond to [redacted], ID [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] bad service with us for a 1.5 yard dumpster that is dumped weekly. The service is for dumping the trash inside the dumpster only. Mr....

[redacted] was placing trash on top of the dumpster lids and lots of extra debris in front and around the dumpster. Unless our driver has a dispatch ticket from our office, any extra trash is left unless the customer is willing to pay for the extra charges and must call the office the day before service so the order is given to the driver. This is explained to all new customers when signing up for service.
Mr. [redacted] would not call the office and request extra trash pick up and so our employees did what they are instructed to do and that is only dump the dumpster. In October 2014 Mr. [redacted] called the office and complained the employees were not taking the extra trash. He was told any extra trash is to be called in and charged to his account. Mr. [redacted] said he didn't care about the extra charges; he would pay for any, but just to tell the employees to make sure any trash outside the dumpster was taken. It was suggested to Mr. [redacted] to trade up to a bigger dumpster that could handle all of his trash and he said no, he does not have that much trash to put out every week.
As the employees proceeded to pick up the extra trash, Mr. [redacted] started to get behind on his bill with us. He was not paying his bill and was 3 months behind when we notified him that we can not pick up the dumpster until we are paid. In the meantime, our driver took pictures of the debris that was placed and it was getting heavier around the dumpster. It was to the point our driver could not handle to take it all because Mr. [redacted] wanted him and his helper to clean up any debris on the ground which was getting to be too much.
Since Mr. [redacted] was 3 months behind on his bill, the driver was instructed to not dump the dumpster on December 4, 2014. Mr. [redacted] was sent a letter that this would happen and as soon as the bill was paid, we would restart service and dump the dumpster. Mrs. [redacted] called that day and said the driver just drove by the house and wanted to know why. Mrs. [redacted] was told about the bill and letter sent with it that they were behind and we needed to be paid before we could continue the service. She said she had the bill and asked what the extra charges for on the statement were. It was then explained to her that back in October, Mr. [redacted] had agreed to pay for any extra charges of trash that was outside of the dumpster and we could add them to the bill. Mrs. [redacted] said the employees never picked up any extra trash, that these charges should not have been put on their bill. Then she handed to the phone over to Mr. Long. Mr. [redacted] started to argue he was not paying for the extra charges and said the employees never would pick up any trash, they would leave it. Mr. [redacted] was told the driver took pictures of the all of the debris and he only took what he could handle, that we do not clean up
messes around the dumpster. Mr. [redacted] said he had pictures too, and they just didn't want to pick up the debris. Then Mr. [redacted] started to use foul language on the phone. He said we do not do a good job at taking care of his trash needs and he was not going to pay for any extra charges. So it was decided by our office that he should fine another company for trash service and we would send the driver over to pick up our dumpster. Mr. [redacted] and Clinton County Disposal did not have a contract. But it is only fair that Mr. [redacted] does need to pay for the months we did dump the dumpster and took the extra debris he set out by the dumpster. Then this account will be officially closed.
