I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.The business is correct flyering is not illegalThe problem is the method of distributionIf the business dropped a simple flyer on a doorstep or attached to a doorknob, it is perfectly legalSince the clip is not a form of a flyer - it is litter.

Flyering is protected under free speech and by law is NOT considered littering. The newspaper is never targeted for doing the same thing.  There have been numerous lawsuits where communities and municipalities have tried to stop this form of advertising and they have all been struck down in...

court, citing the first amendment. There is a proper channel for removing one's self from the marketing list. The law states each individual who does not wish to receive these materials must send a certified letter to the company requesting to be removed from the list. If the whole neighborhood wants off, they must each send a letter. I'd like this complaint removed as it is invalid and does not pertain to a direct dealing with Precision Pro Wash. No steps have been taken outside of this format to resolve the issue at hand.
