Review: Obtained estimate from [redacted] (Clint's Construction, LLC) for a small amount of work to be done to my residence in December 2012. Contract signed December 2012; stated work will be completed in 2-4 weeks. Now over ONE year later work still not complete. Contractor has been paid in full and refuses to come back to my house to complete work. Removed wood from covered patio and left beams exposed for 5 months now and counting. Stucco work was contracted out to another company by my contractor, who apparently didn't pay the workers to complete the job because it still has not be done. Stucco work was paid by me in the amount of $2000 (to Cllint's Construction) and the soffit/facia work was $500 (to Clint's Construction). Still incomplete and contractor either refuses to answer phone calls, texts, or in the last message told me to "write my complaint because he is tired of telling me he will get to the work". Then explains to me all of his personal problems and tells me "to move forward" and that "Yes Karma is a [redacted]!!" I have attempted several times to get a specific date when [redacted] can come do the work, but now I am at the end and not sure I want him to complete the work due to his unprofessional behavior and based upon the work that has been already completed by his company. Lighting fixtures were hung with broken porcelain housing; I had to remove the fixture, obtain a new one and hang it myself to get it corrected. Wooden floors were installed incorrectly by placing two smaller sections together that did not interlock along the wall portion.Desired Settlement: If this contractor cannot obtain a reputable and licensed person to complete this work I would like to obtain a refund so that I may locate someone else to finish the work at my residence.

Review: I hired the owner [redacted] of Clint Construction, LLC to be my general contractor to repair/remodel/rebuild my burned property located at [redacted]. I was given a quote of $3,800 for the clean-up, gutting, haul and removal process although I had not signed a contract with Mr. [redacted] because he did not show me a valid contractor's license as requested. After paying him $3,800 per his quote, he stated that it was only for the initial clean up and haul which annoyed me because I asked for a quote prior to the work. He said it would take another $3,800 to begin the gutting of the old wood so I sent a cash payment to his account (I misplaced my checks due to moving) to once again do the gutting and hauling process. I was told the work would begin immediately and that was October, 2014. I know that Mr. [redacted] has had some phone and family issues so I gave him a little time. After no work had been done after a month had passed, I tried texting Mr. [redacted] numerous times to no avail. I then reached out to him thru facebook and my messages went unanswered. I then tried contacting him via twitter, but again he did not respond. I have asked for a full refund of the 2nd $3,800 because he did not complete any work further than the clean up and haul of which he was paid during the initial payment.Desired Settlement: It has been six (6) months of trying to negotiate with Mr. [redacted]. I would like a refund of $3,800 for services paid in which he has not provided.
