Review: I purchased a car from [redacted] on 7/31/2012. The car belonged to a financial company called Clipper Credit. For the last 7 months I have paid my car note on time, never missed a payment. The same time I got my car I purchased insurance from a company called [redacted]. I have never missed a payment with them either, matter of fact their payments was deducted from my checking account every month. For what ever reason this month my insurance was refused by my bank which I am still looking into, but [redacted] never called me or contacted me stating my insurance had been cancelled. For a non related reason I contacted Clipper Credit and before the called ended the rep [redacted] tells me oh by the way if you go out to your car it has been turned off. I was absolutely shocked I had no idea why this had happen as I stated I have never missed a car note payment EVER and it has always been paid on time. She tells me that my car was turned off due to my insurance being cancelled. Another shocker since I had not even received a call or notice in the mail that my car insurance has been cancelled. I asked [redacted] why didn't someone call me to tell me what was going on so that it could have been dealt with it then. If they respected their customers good customers who pay their bills on time why would they not give the customer the opportunity to resolve the issue before they turned off the car. She just gave me the run around so I asked to speak to her manager. Without even saying hold on she place me on hold and the next thing I know I am speaking to a [redacted] who says she is a director of some sort. I asked her the same question and she read off to me some customer survey thing about what they will do with the car in curtain situations. She stated that this was a recorded and for the record, I asked her to mail me a copy of this recording. I then stated that regardless if they had any customer service qualities someone should have called me.Desired Settlement: Instead of them working with me they opted to spout regulation to me. All I got was attitudes and no understanding what so ever. They were more busy about leaving for the day then helping me in this situation. So I have to take off a day from work in order to get this resolved. I would like a phone call from [redacted] manager hopefully this person will have respect an some kind of customer service and care more about people than the bottom line.
