Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]It? is true that [redacted] hired the company, it was part of the aggrement when we bought the house that the roof would be done, we moved into the house before the roof was completethere was a leak in the kitchen which they came and fixedi dont think $17,is a small budgetas far as the skylights the only one that was sealed was the big triangle one on top because it was leaking the first storm we had? So I let the company know and they came and caulked itAs far as the "sun tunnel" windows I was told they would be done within 2-weeks that they took weeks to get inI was then told on several different occasions that they would be there that week and they never showed upThe windows on the side, as a contractor they should have known that those windows are not suitable for a dome shaped housetheyre only to be put in a regular flat sided housewhich is why water sits in the window sills and there is now dirt and mold in my windowsthere is no mildew smell in my houseif they did replace sheets of plywood they did not use support beams because there are many places where the roof sags down on each triangle area? [redacted] has not been here in person since before the roof was finishedhes never seen it completeonly picturesthey never talked to my mother in law, she wouldve never said we didnt want the windows put it because we never talked about the windowsAlso, its not her house so if they did talk to her I dont know why they wouldve listenedIf that was the case then they should refund us the money it cost for those windows for cost and installation, considering I was quoted about $for each other window upstairs I would think that it would be about that per window? I was also told by another contractor that there is no way they replaced sheets of plywood, and there was vents left uncovered which I had to pay for them to get caps and correctly cap themLike I said prt of us buying the house was that the roof was to be replaced at cost of the previous owner, so yes he paid for it but we picked out the shinglesWe also had to pay another company to come and caulk areas that were not caulked at allI no longer want work done on my house from this company because of all of the carelessness and mistakes that they made.In in regards to the damage inside it was not damaged the way that it is now when we bought the house the damage now it's from the window leakingI paid another company $to come and fix the window and caulk the areas and put vent covers on the areas that they missedThe wall damage is from the leaking window which Corey said if it was a problem with the window that it would stop leaking if you put plastic on it and if it did not stop leaking there was a problem above itHe came and put plastic on the window and it continue to leak I hired another company to come and look at the windowThey found areas where they could stick their entire hand intoAnd they have done what they can for if it was the windowIt still continues to leak because they have said its the way it was shingled above the window it wasnt done corectlyI know have to pay for them to pull up the shingles and re shingle that areaI have been told by two different companies that the entire upper half of my dome needs to be redone.? Regards, [redacted]

I believe that the only way that this situation will be resolved is if the owner contacts me and we go over all concerns in person I have tried several times to contact the owner and have not received a response I will be more than happy to repair any issues directly related to my work and install the sun tunnels I was hired by the previous owner to do the work and when I finished my contract there was still issues with the property that needed to be fixed, but I was not hired to repair them I was told to only replace the plywood that was water damaged The triangles measure about 7xft and a sheet of plywood is 4x I used sheets of plywood to create a triangle and a support in the center The areas that the owner is referring to in the complaint are part of the original structure of the house and I was told not to replace them I feel that the owners complaint falls under the Revdex.com category of Buyers Remorse I can understand that they are frustrated that there is still a lot of repairs to do and that maybe they thought would be done, but I just did what I was contracted to do and should not be held liable If a home inspection was done then these issues could have been addressed before the sale of the house, unfortunately they did not have one and the previous owner did only what was absolutely necessary to sell the house

I am making a decision of thisresponse because:I have been treated disrespectful by Management since I lived in Rancho Cordova will return for refund and will not shop at this International Market ever again!

I would like to first state that I was never in contract with the person who has made the complaint. I was contracted by the original owner *** ***. I never once received payment from the current homeowner. The dome home was in very poor condition. Most of the plywood
on the top was completely saturated and falling apart. Everywhere there was a window or a skylight or a valley the plywood was completely rotted through. It was obvious that this building had been leaking for many years. *** was working with a small budget and he approved all of the work that CLM Construction completed. I advised him to replace all of the skylights, but he decided to keep two of them and told me to seal them up the best that I could because they were a functioning skylight, which means they opened. The other three were supposed to be changed into sun tunnels. The sun tunnels needed to be ordered and the current home owner was told that they would be installed before winter. I had put this job ahead of my others so they could proceed with the sale of the property and needed to get caught up with my schedule. As for the windows on the side of the dome, *** told me to get the cheapest windows that I could and install them. He approved the windows that were purchased and installed. We replaced sheets of plywood on the exterior of the building. The only interior water damaged area that we replaced was in the areas of the windows. All of the other areas were left untouched, as I was not hired to fix the interior. The inside of the building had a very strong musty mildew odor that may not ever go away until the interior water damaged areas are taken care of and this was all present before I was contracted. The top of the building was covered with winterguard which is a thick rubber like membrane that bonds to the roof deck and seals the roof deck from any water penetrating through. We shingled the building and finished everything to Steves satisfaction. *** then sold the property to the current owner who never had an inspection and bought the property as is. She called me to tell me the skylight was leaking. I went to look at the skylight and told her she needed a new one. I gave her a price and she never told me she wanted it replaced which is why it is still leaking. Also, when I was there I was told by her mother in law that they were unsure if they still wanted the sun tunnels installed due to possible future leaks. I was also told of another area where they were seeing moisture and when I looked into it I found that the dryer was venting into the wall and did not have a vent reaching outside. This was something that was orignal to the house and would have been caught had they done an inspection. It had nothing to do with my shingling the building. I did then cut an opening and install a vent for them and hook the dryer pipe back up at no charge. I have all of the text messages from the current and old homeowner, emails, and pictures of the property showing the damage of the property before I began any work. I feel that this claim is not valid and should not be viewed publicly. Also the contract price was 17,not 20,and again not a penny was paid to me from the person who had made the complaint
