Products ordered were never sent and company will not give refund.Original order was placed March 16 but had no place on order form on line for shipping so [redacted] just returned my funds to PayPal. He assured me the problem was fixed, so I re-ordered April 1. Still no shipping charges. I called again and [redacted] Said he would ship the items and I was to send him the shipping cost when I received the items. In that conversation he promised the shipment would be sent Tue April 8. After more than a week with no shipment, I called again. I was told (very rudely )that I would receive my shipment by Tue April 22 and was abruptly hung up on. My e-mail and calls are not being returned and I still have not received products or refund.Desired SettlementAt this point I should receive product and refundBusiness Response I don't believe you have contacted the correct company regarding this issue. We do not have anyone here by the name of [redacted] nor do we have any orders for you on the dates given. The only order that we have from you is dated A YEAR ago Friday, April 26, 2013 for a 13 clock key assortment.

purchased products from Clockworks. Products don't work. Proprietor ignored our description of the product. The clocks simply don't work. Products purchased do not work. We were asking for a replacement unit that worked. The ones that they shipped us were D.O.A. Put brand new energizer batteries in them, and no function, no movement. The proprietor continued to ignore this, and told us that it is a problem specific to the movements. And, without any movements on the clocks, they don't work. What is frustrating is that what we were asking for both in email and in voice mails as well as over the phone, was a solution that works. We don't mind spending additional money to get to a solution. But, we couldn't get past the first issue of clear communication and a business owner that would listen.Our concern is that this business may continue this practice on an ongoing basis. ordered a replacement [redacted] for my grandfather clock which was damaged. The one sent was a cheap imatation of the orginal and draged on the weightsOn [redacted] I ordered (invoice #XXXXX) a replacement Bob for my german made Grandfather clock which had been damaged in moving. I was assured by the vendor that he had the exact replacement part. It arrived and it was immediately obvious it was a cheap imitation of the orginal. However upon installing it it appeared to work fine, so I was satisfied. That is until several days later when the clock stopped. Upon examination it was because. . the bob was draging acros the weights. The weights had benn wound to the top and evevtually lowered to the level of the bob. No amount of bending or twisting would allow a space between the two.After several days of trying I decided to return it. My phone msgs were not returned so I sent a explanation email. I explained that I did not expect a full refund because of his costs in shipping it and that I would take it to a packing and shipping store for return I have not gotten an answer. With regard to the damaged Bob. I took it to a metal shop who repaired te for 1/2 the cost of clockworksDesired SettlementA refund of the purchase price minus his handling and shipping costsBusiness Response Customer received a full refund for the pendulum/bob and shipping. There was no record of any email that was received nor phone messages. Consumer Response Thank you for the refund. I will have the pendulum properly packaged at a shipping store and will send it to the address at the bottom of your email. It is in the same condition as when I received it. I did no damage to it. Product was damaged during shipping. Product was replaced with a new unit, which also had functioning problems.Two non-working units were returned for credit. The cost of the movement was credited to my account. However, I payed shipping costs for both. I feel I should be reimbursed for the shipping fee, as I was unable to use either movementClockworks tells me that they cannot refund shipping that was payed with a credit card.Here is the correspondence from Clockworks:"There was nothing wrong with either movement when getting them back here. These simple set up issues could have been resolved by anyone that knows how to change a spark plug.I stand to make [redacted] on a movement on a good day, helping people save [redacted] on a repair bill.I cannot credit more than you paid, it is not possible with the credit card."I have correspondence from Clockworks indicating how to repair the movement. They did attempt to "talk" me through the problem, but the movement still wouldn't work.Desired SettlementRefund of return shipping costs. Each movement cost [redacted] to return, for a total of [redacted]Business Response We have gone above and beyond trying to help this customer.
