Cloninger Ford of Hickory Reviews (3)

I brought my F-to Cloniger Ford on November 28th for repairI had spoken with my insurance company and they were going to send an adjustor out to look at the truckAccording to my insurance company the process would take a few days to completeOn the morning of the 29th I returned to the dealership and provided my extended warranty information to the assigned service advisor Candy AlexanderI gave her a list of other items which are covered under my extended warrantyI informed her I wanted them repaired while they had my truckShe assured me that it would be taken care ofThe insurance company approved the claim on 11/Candy contacted me on the afternoon of the 30th and told me that my truck would be ready on Tuesday, December 6thI asked again at that point if she had gotten approval for the other repairs and if they were in processShe told me that she had not contacted the extended warranty company but that she was in the morning and that she had spoken with the mechanic and that getting everything done should not be a problemI attempted to follow up with her twice on December 1st and could not reach herI left a message for her to call me, but I never received any type of responseI tried to contact her again on the 2nd of December and was unable to reach herI did not hear anything Monday, December 5th or Tuesday December 6thEven though the 6th was when my truck was supposed to be readyI called again on December 7th and was able to reach her and she informed me that my truck was readyI inquired about the other items and she told me that she still had not had time to contact the extended warranty company to get approval for the repairsShe said that they would have to order the parts and the repairs completed at a later dateI was not very happy about this, but I did not say anythingI told her I would be in later that afternoon or the following morning to pick up my truckI arrived at your dealership at about 9:on December the 8th to pick up my truckThey called Candy over she said they were going to get my keysAs I waited for + minutes for my truck, my wife texted me and asked if I just leftI told her no, that I was still waiting on my truckShe informed me that someone just pulled out of the dealership in my truckI continued to wait on my truck until the mechanic showed up with my keys He informed me that he wanted to take it for a test drive because he had no idea I was coming to pick the truck up and had not checked over it yetAt this point Candy came back over and said she would try to contact my extended warranty company to get the approval for the required parts to complete the repairs on my truckAgain, I did not say anything about how she has wasted a week's time when this could have already been doneI took my keys and leftWhen I arrived at my truck I went to unlock the driver's doorI noticed that the lock for the door had been pushed back into the door and was brokenOne of the items on my list was that the driver's door lock would not unlock with the remoteIt would lock, but not unlockThe key mechanism was fineI walked back into the dealership to tell her that the door lock was now brokenI began to ask her if they had possibly already started working on it and she said " It was like that when you brought it in" and Informed her that it in fact was not like that at which time she screamed at me that it wasAt this point, I left the dealershipI do not know what gives this woman the idea that it is ok to speak to me in such a fashionHer conduct from the time my experience started with your dealership has been incompetent at best but her actions today are unacceptableTo basically accuse me of lying about an item when I had no reason toFor me, even if the door lock was broken it would still be covered under my extended warrantyWhy would I possibly come back in and inquire about it if already knew it was brokenI will not be returning my truck to your dealership for the remainder of the repairsThis will be the last vehicle I purchase from your dealership

The customer service is terribleDo not have your car or truck serviced hereCandy A*** is a terrible service advisorPoor follow up and service

Rodney,
We drove down from Asheville on the premise that your sales team would gain our business We drove the perfect Honda Civic SI for usThe Internet sales lady (Sandra) said they are making deals this week and will make you one on the Honda The used car salesman and the finance manager treated us like we were ignorant and not deserving of a car off your lotThe first offer was the sticker priceThe second offer was lower only if I put a thousand downSame amount for car minus my 1kThe finance manager came to the desk made the second offer, same price, no room for negotiation and just got up and walked offNo thank you for coming in, no I wished we could have earned your business, nothingTypical dealership mentality of the customer doesn't matterIt was sad that your sales team ruins the reputation of the whole dealership for usI will never come to your dealership again or recommend to anyoneWe are very sensible people and easy going if we couldn't make a deal then okayNo harsh feelingsThat is not the way it endedWe came back to Asheville, bought a Honda Civic SI, one year older, less miles than your Honda and not as scratched upIt worked out great for usThe only downside is, you will lose business from now on because of the way your used car department and finance Manger treats people
