We have had Mr. [redacted] bring his truck back in and completed his repair on the exhaust. He will be returning for the instrument cluster to be replaced later. All these repairs have been done at no charge to him. He has assured my staff that he is satisfied with this matter.

Review: I James Moore Receive the call telephone call from CloningerToyota in Salisbury, NC Asking me If I needed a car. I'm said, No! But the salesman Kept me on the phone for about 20 to 30 minutes trying to convince me to buy a car from there. So I told him That I would come to Salisbury from Charlotte To see what kind of cars they had. Then, I remember I was refinancing my house And I called the salesman on his Cell phone To let him know that I Was not coming on the appointed day. I told him that I was refinaning my home. Then a week later I started getting letters from banks, denialing me credit! I never even gave them my social security number or any personal information. I want this Resolved!Desired Settlement: Contact credit bureaus and tell them I, james Moore never inquired about getting that loan!

Review: I told them that I didn't want to go passed a certain amount for car payments. They could have told me then and there that they couldn't help me. Instead, they wasted my time for half the day. This was a day in which I had to get a car. It couldn't wait. Then, they pulled the price of 392.00 on me. They made lame excuses about how I supposedly spend this on extras, which I don't. Feeling like I had no choice, I decided to buy it. I spoke to my insurance company about the pricing, which was high. The sales rep told me it would really go down because of safety features such as airbags. It might have taken off perhaps ten dollars of the price. He didn't tell me that having a newer car, that it's higher to pay for parts to replace. Also, they said they couldn't sell me Gap insurance due to its manufacturer warranty. Modern Toyota says it can be sold to me. I also found out that Modern Toyota is selling the car for three to four thousand dollars less, so I think I got cheated out of money. Also, they said they could set up bi-monthly payments. GM Financial (the bank) verified they don't do that. They told me anything and anything to manipulate me into buying the car. They told lies. They didn't care about the person, just selling a car.Desired Settlement: A refund would be nice in light of all the manipulation and lies as tactics. I'd also be okay with being able to trade the car in for something with lower payments. I'd like somebody who is truthful to help with resolving the matter.

Review: My husband and I went to purchase a car from Cloninger Toyota. We were going to put $10000 on the car. We drove the car for 3 weeks and never received a 30 day tag. After we had given them $5000, my husband lost his job and we could no longer afford the vehicle. The deal had yet to be funded by the loan company (which they had told us it had) because since my husband lost his job they could no longer verify his employment. We took the vehicle back up there and they then told us that our $5000 was non refundable. They received their car back and kept our hard earned money.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive our $5000 back since the deal on the car never went through.

Review: CALLED TO INGUIRE ABOUT A CAR ONLINE AND ONLY TALKED TO SALES REP [redacted] FOR A FEW MINUTES AND HIS OFFER WAS WAY TOO HIGH. I TOLD HIM NO, HE CALLED BACK, I TOLD HIM NO, HE WAITED ABOUT 35 40MINS AFTER HE TALKED TO SALES MANAGER AND CALLED AGAIN AND I TOLD HIM NO , THAT I WAS NOT INTERESTED. NEXT THING I KNEW, I HAD RECEIVED A STATEMENT OF A CREDIT CHECK, AND THEN A FEW DAYS LATER I RECIEVED THE SAME INFORMATION FROM FOUR DIFFERENT BANKS/OR FINANCIAL COMPAINES. I GAVE "NO ONE" PERMISSION TO RUN CREDIT. YOU HAVE TO FIND A CAR BEFORE YOU RUN CREDIT. I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS AND I WANT THE INGUIRIES "REMOVED" FROM MY CREDIT FILE.Desired Settlement: I WANT SUPERVISOR [redacted] TO MAKE SURE THESE INGUIRES ARE REMOVED ASAP FROM MY CREDIT FILE. ASAP!!!!

This is in response to case #[redacted], our sales director, has contacted [redacted]. He did address her concern with her credit pulls. Our information showed she had filled out an online credit application with us. [redacted] also explained that even though multiple lenders may have supplied this information this credit information, her report will only show one pull since this was done on the same day. It is our understanding that this issue has been resolved.

Thank you,
