Again, I am very sorry that we lost your comforterWhen asked, you told us your comforter was four years old, so we were applying the Fair Claims Guide to assist us in a fair response This guide is used by the Revdex.com, and in the court systemThe depreciated value of a year old comforter is 30%, if in excellent conditionWe felt that our brand new thread count comforter and $was a fair settlementTo replace a four year old comforter with a brand new was fairMay we see the receipt for the purchase of the original comforter?

Dear Mr ***,You returned garments to Clothesline Vance Jackson on March 14, 2015, complaining of stains and improper pressing The CSR responded that we cleaned the items in June 2014, August 2014, September 2014, and January The slacks were cleaned October You returned and
complained at length and quite loudly about orders that you have had in your possession months, months, months, and months agoThe CSR offered to the garments from 2015, as a courtesy, even though you have had them over days

Complaint: ***The fact that you acknowledge my dry cleaning not being ready as promised on Monday at 6pm and still neglect to compensate accordinglyis beyond meI would have taken my clothing to another provider who would have had it ready before Tuesday if I knew this was the caseAs a business ***,you are responsible for the promises you make to the consumerDo not tell a consumer that their clothing will be ready for pickup on Monday at 6pm if youcannot deliver on that promiseIf your driver was stuck in traffic, that is an unfortunate circumstance in which you must take responsibility and compensateyour customers accordinglyWith that, I was never told any such thing about a delivery service so you advising me that I declined such service is an irrevocableerror on your partI fully understand and agree in paying for services provided by a businessWith that, I also fully understand that a business has a duty to uphold their end of the bargain; in this case, having my dry cleaning ready on the date and time they advised it would beAdditionally, you're neglectingthe fact that your CSR printed me a receipt for a complete different price then what was asked of me upon return to pickup my itemsDo you not agree that alittle courtesy call advising an error occurred by mistake of your own employee and a price has completely changed is acceptable for the situation? My phonenumber is listed right there on the receipt in the same location where the confirmed it so that you could give me a call back in regards to this matter (which you never did)You need to take pride in your business and account for mistakes that have occurred thereinYou need to make wrongs in to rights and compensate the customers who fund your well being for errors that YOUR employees have madeAll I want is my $refunded for an error that your employeemade and wasn’t even respectful enough to notify me there’d been a changeConsidering my dry cleaning wasn’t ready as promised, I think that is what’s “fair”. You’re literallywilling to lose a following of faithful customers over your employee’s error which accounts to a measly $20; I can’t believe it.Regards,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I will be willing to split the cost of what it would take to replace my comforter. The cost to replace the comforter is $249.00, I will accept $125.00.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Let me correct the statements they *** of the store made incorrectly. My comforter they lost was a queen, off white, Goose Down comforter I bought on sale for $300.00. It was bought for show, never used. It was like new, no stains whatsoever. Only used in winter for show only at the foot of the bed. The comforter they state they purchased to replace it and waiting for me to approve, I only found this out this morning through Revdex.com. I called the store today and they said, oh yea, it was here when I arrived this morning. I drove from New Braunfels to go look at the comforter. It was not a down filled comforter, it was a stark white thin coverlet, the filling was an alternative to down filling. Totally unacceptable. I have used my time, my gas, and the daily stress it has caused in my life. I went to two different stores trying to get the best price to replace my goose down comforter, they lost. I found two one at ***'s, one at ***'s. The one at ***'s was 249.00, and it was acceptable to me and the closest to the one they lost, even though not as plush. The one at ***'s was 399.00. I explained to them the one for would be acceptable. The they offered yesterday, Oct 21st, would not even pay for a set of sheets. I expect my comforter returned to me or a reimbursement of $to replace what they lost

I apologize that your order was not there when you came in to pick it upI realize you are a busy person, and it was an inconvenience to return and discover the order was not there as expectedThe driver experienced heavy traffic coming in from out of downtown, so all the orders came in late that
dayWe offered to deliver at no charge, which you declined. The CSR ringing up your order noticed that you had brought in a men's suit, after ringing up your order, so she added the suit to the cost, as you might expectWe asked for payment of the suit, because we cleaned the suit the suitThat's fair. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

Dear Mr. [redacted],Perhaps you are thinking of another cleaners, or different jacket. The CSRs at Clothesline Cleaners are trained to check all the pockets of each item as they check them in. Your only visit to our cleaners was a month ago, and you dropped off one piece, the jacket. A single item...

with two bulky cufflinks in two separate pockets would have alerted [redacted] to empty the pockets. Even placing the jacket on the counter would have made a "clink" sound to alert that the pockets had items inside.  She found nothing, and placed the blazer in the transport bag to send for cleaning. The manager did not find anything in the pockets, and the presser did not find anything in the pockets.  Thirty days later, you told [redacted] that the cufflinks are treasured family heirlooms, and I hope you find them soon.

We are so sorry that your comforter is lost. This is the first time it has happened, and unfortunately, we didn't handle the problem well. The technicians at the plant were making every effort to remove the old stains. The Dry Clean and Laundry Institute has an established set of guidelines to help...

us reach an agreement on depreciated values, which is respected in courts of law. Your four year old comforter has a monetary value of approximately $50, which we have offered to you. We also purchased a 700 thread count queen down comforter which is waiting for your approval. Again, we apologize, and would like to settle your claim in a fair way for both of us.

Again, I am very sorry that we lost your comforter. When asked, you told us your comforter was four years old, so we were applying the Fair Claims Guide to assist us in a fair response.  This guide is used by the Revdex.com, and in the court system. The depreciated value of a 4 year old comforter is 30%, if in excellent condition. We felt that our brand new 700 thread count comforter and $50 was a fair settlement. To replace a four year old comforter with a brand new was fair. May we see the receipt for the  purchase of the original comforter?
