I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

 Though the business claims that we have not contacted them, my husband and I, on several occasions have used email and [redacted] to send messages that were never responded to. Copies of all of these messages and their dates are available. To date, more than 2 months after our wedding, we have not received communication or a refund.

Dear Sir / Madam, We have received your notice regarding the complaint  [redacted] made for services rendered on 2/**/15 which were contracted with Village Car Service on 5/*/14 - deposit made on that  date on a credit card [redacted] ending in [redacted], balance was paid on 8/**/14...

by check. We were contracted for Van shuttle service for 3hrs on 2/** /15 from the [redacted] to Excelssior grand from 4pm -5:30pm and the return from The Excelsior Grand back to the [redacted] from 11pm - 12:30am . A separate Town  Car was booked for the bride and groom to be picked up from the Excelsior Grand to the [redacted] at 12:30am. With the merge the new owners decided to take the 14 passenger van off the road since it had previously  been involved in a car accident and it was not cost effective to make the cosmetic repairs.   [redacted] was informed in January 2015  that the vehicle was no longer available and was offered 2 mini vans instead which she agreed to. Services were rendered on 2/**/14  by both vehicles within the time set for pick up, drivers at the hotel did have to wait since there wasn’t a list of specific number of passengers we would be taking or a contact number given the hotel staff was not sure of exactly how many ppl were included in the party either as we were told they would be.    The Town Car booked  was not available because at that time of night there is only one on service and unfortunately the vehicle was involved in a minor accident a few hours prior the first available vehicle was sent instead to insure they were picked up on time which was a mini van. After they returned from their honeymoon [redacted] contaced the office regarding refund for not getting  the town car they booked, we offered to refund the difference in rate which $22 on their credit card he states they paid by check. [redacted] said he would have to speak with his wife regarding refund being made on a credit card and get back to us. To date no one has contacted our office again regarding this matter. The most disrespectful and unprofessional car service I ever dealt with! Waited an hour and 15 minutes for a cab when they told me it would be there 15-20 minutes! I had somewhere to be. Of course they don't care because they just want the money but they're playing with my time! When I called to complain two dispatchers have me attitude and again gave me false information!

Review: We just returned from our honeymoon and we wanted to follow-up on the service issue for our wedding on 2/**/15. As you can see from the attached contracts, we hired a separate luxury car for our pick-up from the wedding, but we also hired vans to served as shuttles (which implies going back-and-forth). Instead of a luxury car, we were given a van for our pick-up, and instead of acting like a shuttle, the vans made ONE trip to and from. We paid for THREE hours of service. Unknowingly, until our guests informed us, we also gave the drivers generous tips.

I emailed Clove Lake Car Service before we left, called them, but have not received a response. We feel we deserve a partial refund for the services that were not rendered.
