We recently used Cloverdale Moving Van Lines on a move from Edmonton to *** I was a little skeptical because there rates were so much better than all the other quotes I receivedEverything went smoothly with piand delivery I would highly recommend them!
This is my first time hired Angelo and his colleague to help me move all my stuffs from Richmond to Kelowna. We have a lot of futnitures including my babies' stuff and they taking care all of them nicely and maintain the speed at the same time. For stuff that I miss or might damage during the moving, they even take time to wrap them so they won't get damage. I love how they taking care the mattress, they seal with my babies' mattress so they won't get dirty or damage.
After they arrived at Kelowna and start unload my stuff, I start to tell them which item should go to which area, and they are patiently listen to all my request.
I am glad that I choose this company to help me move to Kelowna and I would recommend them to any of you who try to move. I for sure will choose them next time if I gonna move to somewhere in the future.
Great experience with these movers. They were quick and efficient and moved my things from the lower mainland to [redacted] in a timely fashion. A couple of knobs were broken on a dresser, but not a huge deal as they needed to be replaced regardless. They even made an extra stop after putting my things in a storage locker, and brought a few items to my home. Good communication, friendly workers.
I was considering various quotes by moving companies for my move from Peace River, AB to Kamloops, BC.
Cloverdale Moving Van LInes sent me an attractive "flat fee" based on the information I provided to them: approximate weight and itemized list, etc. I was given what I thought a realistic and reasonable offer. I had everything arranged with the agent. After a detailed conversation, he sent me an invoice to sign.
I signed the invoice in good faith, but for some reason my fax would not go through. I am so glad it didn't, and that I had not committed myself to anything. Because shortly afterward, I received a call from the manager stating that after looking over the invoice, and based on his "experience" in the moving business, there was no way they could offer me the initial "flat fee". He refused to believe that I had given them an accurate estimate of the weight involved, and that my move would cost me much more - almost $1000.00 more than they had initially offered. I could not believe it!
This is a perfect example of a "bait and switch" ploy. Get the customer's attention, offer an attractive deal, then once the person is hooked, change the agreement.
My advice: Stay away from Cloverdale Moving Van Lines - find another moving company!
I have moved with Cloverdale Moving for the second time now and it has been an easy and stress free experience. I was contacted through out the move by Angelo & Dona and appreciate them for keeping me updated. I will be using them in my future moves and have recommend them to everyone. They are a family based business and it they really showed how much they care for their clients. 10/10
The fellows moving my mom's belongings out of her Assisted Living accommodations were very good. Fast, efficient and polite and respectful. They were a little late in arriving but called me to let me know that and how far away they were.
5 star company would highly recommend to anyone, very professional and great prices, guys worked their butts off and did a amazing job of making our move smooth
I have just finished my 5th move with Cloverdale Moving. Everyone of the moves gets more difficult due to locations, more possessions or distance. I have had Angelo on every move, even if the crew is different they are on time, professional, courteous and "responsibly" quick in their arduous task. I also believe they are well priced.
Over the years I have recommended them often to realtors,friends and family.
Angelo did remind me on this last move that I had said I was never going to do it again. Life happens.
I would definitely recommend Cloverdale Moving. if I do, ever, move again, I will be calling.
According to their website and their email quote to me I should have received a 5% seniors discount which I asked for and have a drivers licence to prove my age, however I had to fight like heck to get it. They did not deduct it from my bill. After many phone calls and delays they finally sent me a cheque instead almost 2 months after the move. I also am missing a black plastic tote box which I was told I couldn't make a claim for because I couldn't prove they lost it. They charged me $1038.23 to move a 1 bedroom condo with NO storage locker. They charged extra for the sofa and $54 each extra for 2 outside patio plants in large pots. A very expensive move for me.
The movers from Cloverdale moving company were efficient, timely, polite and respectful. They were kind enough to move a large desk into the garage even though it was not going on the moving truck. The truck was not big enough for all of my articles so a second truck had to come but they only charged me For the weight, not for gas or the ferry charge for the second truck. I highly recommend this company.
Very positive experience. The movers were quick and efficient and were very efficient both in and out and even offered to help beyond set up my TV as I had a previous injury and had difficulties with it. The crew was also very friendly and fast at covering the furniture.
Cloverdale is an amazing company with drivers and movers that know what they are doing.
We had a long trip from Calgary to [redacted], our stuff arrived in two days, they got us booked in a week early as well, and were so professional and extremely helpful.
Best customer service, fastest move I've ever done, and they went above and beyond to help us without any complaints, were very caring and did not damage any of our things.
It was stress free, and was also way cheaper than uhaul which is great, since we didn't have to do much, but we still helped.
I'd book them again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to everyone!!
