Dear *** ***,Thank you for providing us with a copy of *** *** ***s response. At this time, it is our understanding that this matter is being handled by Investigator Parks of The Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection. We here at Cloverly Automotive are patiently waiting for a date and time from Investigator Parks in order to conduct an inspection on the vehicle in question in the hopes of reaching resolution.Gáry C*** Owner Cloverly Automotive

It was a pleasure speaking with you this morning, and for hopefully your help resolving my automotive problemI read the rebuttal from Cloverly Automotive, and the only thing that was true in their entire response was it was the correct year make and modelEVERYTHING else was a total bunch of lies....everything from being good friends for over years (I have known of him only...MrC*** had a crush on my wife’s older sister in high school) and NEVER being contacted with any type of estimates along the wayI did get a call the day after it was towed telling me they needed $to start...I authorized that...then approximately a week later they told me it would cost another $to replace the rear windshield...that’s it..!!! I was never called and given any estimates, either in writing or verbally...the only other conversation I had with them was Cloverly Automotive (The receptionist) calling to let me know they were done and the balance due was $3999..!!! In fact about a week later of picking up my truck had to be towed to another auto repair facility to re do much of what they butcheredThat’s all documented on the repair order from the second repair shopI don’t want them (Cloverly Automotive) to touch my vehicle again, but want to be reimbursed for repairs that I didn’t authorizePlease feel free to contact me anytime with questions or concerns.Warmest Regards,** *** ***

In reference to the above mentioned complaint, complaint No. [redacted] Cloverly Automotive would respectfully take this opportunity to further explain the details in question. On 7/6/17 [redacted] came to Cloverly Automotive requesting the installation of parts on his 1995 [redacted] Pickup (VIN:...

[redacted]). [redacted] then provided me a list of all the parts he was supplying and work to be performed, see enclosed list.Secondly, [redacted] then went onto provide verbal authorization at that time after agreeing to a $1,000 deposit towards the agreed work. Based on a long standing friendship that spams over thirty years work was performed and complete over approximately a ten day period 7/6/17-7/17/17.Furthermore, [redacted] was given regular updates by myself and or my supportive staff as to the progress of the work being performed. At each stage of the work [redacted] provided verbal authorization stating, "Just do it." The following parts were provided by Cloverly Automotive after receiving verbal authorization at minimum mark up taking in consideration that [redacted]'s wife works at [redacted]: fuel filter, bracket, fuel pump strap, fuel pump hanger, windshield, and a complete fuel tank assembly that was installed on [redacted]'s vehicle valued at $330 at no charge.Moverover, [redacted]'s allegation of not performing work that was on his tist is frankly unfounded. The left and right rear leaf spring front brackets were not supplied by [redacted] nor were they supplied or charged by Cloverly Automotive. [redacted] also alleges that Cloverly Automotive left 4-5 loose lug nuts on his vehicle's left rear wheel. Again, this is frankly unfounded based on the nature of the repairs performed at no time would the rear wheels need to be removed from [redacted]'s vehicle. In conclusion, Cloverly Automotive would request a date and time convenient to all parties in order to inspect [redacted]'s vehicle further showing that all the agreed upon labor and parts in question were performed and installed as agreed. The bulk of the invoice as explained to [redacted] is fog and labor intensive nature of the repairs request.Gary C[redacted], Owner Cloverly Automotive
