We at Clovis Auto Mart strive to ensure that all our customers have a pleasant experience when buying a car. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case with Ms. [redacted] and we do regret any misunderstanding. In her case for internal...

reasons her payoff took longer than usual to be paid off. If was never our intention to cause any additional hardship. Ms. [redacted] traded in her car on May 26, 2015 a date relatively close to her loan payment date, payoffs usually take 2-4 weeks and we tell customers that payments might still be due from the time they trade in to when the loan is paid off. When Ms. [redacted] contacted us in June that her payment was automatically debited from her account in June, we reimbursed her for that payment with check #XXXXX, which was cashed on June 10th and cleared our bank on June 11th. In July, the same thing happened and we promptly issued check #XXXXX which was cashed July 8th and cleared our bank on July 9th. Ms. [redacted] was at no time left with the responsibility of two auto loan payments as we promptly reimbursed her for the payments taken out of her account. The loan has been paid off with her financial institution and we have attached a letter from them stating this is the case.
We have also included copies of the checks for the auto loan reimbursements so that you may see that we were not trying to avoid any responsibility. We have maintained open communication with Ms. [redacted] at all times and have tried to address all of her concerns. Her concern that her credit was being jeopardized was not founded on any facts as none of the car payments were made late in order to create a dent on her credit report.

I guess open communication means me constantly trying to get ahold of someone who was telling me the truth instead of giving me false tracking numbers ([redacted]) telling me the check had been sent 4 different times when it was not. I have not received any letters saying my vehicle was paid off. Last thing I heard was the check you sent, bounced according to Fresno County Federal Credit Union.

We have complied with the customer as far as the desired resolution and have provided all the documentation to prove this is the case. The loan has been paid off with Fresno County Federal Credit Union and the customer is welcome to contact them directly to verify the accuracy of this.
