On 07/28/said customer came in for a/c serviceOn inspection discovered water leaking from a cracked radiator and also leaking from the intake manifold gaskets which appeared to have been leaking for some timeCustomer gave the OK for the
repairThe hoses seemed pliable and appeared to be OKWe performed the repair and tested for leaks and verified the thermostat was opening and functioning correctlyCustomer picked up the carOn 8/18/we received a call from the customer stating a water leak and that the car was in Prather so we sent a tow truck D&K towing which we paid $for the tow to our shopupon inspection we discovered a small leak in the bottom hose under the water pumpCustomer gave the OK to replace radiator hoses and heater hosesAfter the repair we ran the car for over minutes to insure no leaks and that the thermostat was functioningAbout a hour later we received a call from the customers number only to hear laughing in the background but nothing was saidIn a few minutes we received another call from her number stating that her car lost power and was making noiseShe stated that her car was hot ! we asked how hot and she stated 210* we informed her that was operating temperature for that car then she said it was230* We told her to be safe don't drive the car and she stated she would only drive it home!! The next day the customer came to the shop throwing the keys hitting me saying to pick up the car and she would not pick the car up until we put a new motor in itWe picked up the car pushing on a dolly and brought it to the shopWe checked the water level which was not low, checked the oil which was very clean and overfilled .We hooked up a pressure tester and set it at lbswhich held overnite.with no signs of leakage.we also hooked up a scanner to the onboard computer which showed no present over heating codes,but a history code of p0452b which is a low pressure evap and prior heating code of 230*.Customer stated she had no prior heating problems.We consulted with the BAR and two other repair shops stating we followed proceedures.Also the other shops questioned the oil situation which showed no signs of any burnt or overheating1st repair mi.XXXXX Xnd repair mi(32mi,) PRESENT mi.XXXXXX mi.) Customer stated car was toed after about miCustomer told us after we suggested not to drive the car she would drive it home!!.SHE HAS STOPPED PAYMENT ON THE REPAIRS AND TOWINGWe have been in business in Clovis for years with about a 99% good record with the BAR and Revdex.comWe have always tried to please our customers but this one seems ODD
