Clozermatic Engineering Company

Review: They have failed to show up as promised multiple times.

Now they have rescheduled and and have failed to even show up when they have agreed to.

They are offering same day service when they have not showed up as promised on a scheduled call of a rescheduled call. But are putting new calls in front of yours.Desired Settlement: On time as promised our time is not meaningful for them.

Compete the job as promised without anymore excuses.

Review: Clozermatic was called to service a garage door that was initially installed 2007 by them.(The door is still under warranty). The service advisor peformed the maintenance and notified us that a part had to be installed to reinforce the door.(that service and part was quoted to under ythe warranty and service appointment was booked for October 9,2013 between 5 and 7pm.).The Service Advisor never showed or called to cancel the appointment. Numerous calls to company have not been returned. The company has cashed the service visit check for $272.00 after the initial visit.Desired Settlement: We expect the job to be finished under the warranty. We were also told that the part was in stock and installation was a simple process.

Review: WE HAD NEW GARAGE DOORS AND OPENERS INSTALLED LAST YEAR AND SINCE THEN WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. WE NEEDED REPAIRS DONE AND CONTACTING THE OWNER WAS VERY DIFFICULT, HE WOULD NEVER RETURN OUR CALLS, AND WHEN HE DID AND HE MADE APPOINTMENTS TO COME OUT, NO ONE WOULD SHOW UP. THIS HAPPENED MANY TIMES. THE LAST REPAIR WAS TO OUR GARAGE DOOR OPENER, AFTER MANY FAILED ATTEMPTS TO REACH HIM AND MANY NO SHOWS, THE OWNER [redacted], FINALLY CAME OUT TO DO THE JOB. AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR OF WORKING ON IT HE SAID HE WOULD COME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO FINISH IT AND LEFT. HE NEVER SHOWED UP AGAIN, AND THE OPENER WAS LEFT JUST HANGING IN THE AIR FOR A MONTH, UNOPERABLE. AFTER MANY MORE PHONE CALLS AND MANY MISSED APPOINTMENTS, HE REFUSED TO COME BACK TO COMPLETE THE JOB.Desired Settlement: WE FINALLY GOT ANOTHER COMPANY IN TO FINISH THE REPAIR SO WE COULD FINALLY USE THE DOOR AGAIN. WE PAID THEM OUT OF OUR POCKETS SO I WOULD LIKE TO RETRIEVE THIS COST FROM THE OWNER.

Review: One month ago, I paid 50% down for a garage door installment. I was promised installment within two weeks. It is one month today, and Clozermatic has not answered or returned repeated daily phone calls for a status update. This is outrageously poor service. At the 3 week point, I did get a voicemail message that they acknowledged they were late with the installation and again promised installment within a few working days - that was 8 days ago; since that time they have not answered or returned a single call...

I do NOT recommend anyone to contract with this company under its current management.Desired Settlement: Finish the job, explanation & apology.

Review: I have been doing business with this company for years. Back in mid August of 2013 I contacted them to give me a quote for new garage door openers with a battery back-up. They came out and quoted me and in turn agreed to have them perform the work. On August 14, 2013 they were set up to install the 2 units. They sent me a text message saying they were running behind and would be there in a couple of hours. They did show up till approx. 7:30 pm at night which we agreed to another time and date. On August 30, 2013 they were schedule to be at my house in the late afternoon. They did not show up. They sent me another text saying end of the week was hectic and took his daughter to the beach. Another date was set for September 13, 2013 in the late afternoon. At 7:30 pm when they did not show I sent them a text at 7:30 pm asking them where they were. They sent me a text back saying that they were in [redacted], Md and asked if I would let them work late a night.. I asked that they call me and to this date I have unsuccessfully be able to get in touch with them. We have given a deposit of $499.00 on the work by check for which the company cashed it immediately. Copies can be provided of the quote, cashed check, and any text messages with regard to this. We would appreciate any assistance on this. This is very disappointing since we have used them over the years to install and service my garage doors.Desired Settlement: We would like them to just do the work as promised. If they can't then we would like a refund check for our deposit.

Review: Clozermatic repairman came to repair Garage Door on March 17th. He said he needed a part and would be back. I needed to go to work: I paid $225.12 by check. He agreed to finish the work, leave a receipt. When I returned, there was no receipt. The garage door did open and close, but the electrical outlet used was in a wall--not the ceiling: a long extension cord was used. This is not proper. The check was cashed. I have tried to contact the company and all attempts to reschedule have failed.Desired Settlement: The garage door electrical work should be completed properly, returning the system to its previous functional state and appearance.

Review: On June 11th a proposal from Clozermatic was accepted, which included two garage doors being ordered and installed by Clozermatic at two different properties on one contract. Per the contract terms, a 50% deposit was made as required on the estimate on June 11th. On Monday, July 1st, one door was installed, although late. The original date for the 2nd door to be installed was on June 24th. Installer did not show because door did not arrive. We received no phone call advising us of the fact that the install was not occuring. Once we got a hold of Clozermatic [redacted], President, advised that the distributor had delayed the delivery, and the door would not be in until July 5th. [redacted] said that he would get the door from another distributor and install it on Tuesday, July 2nd. Installers showed up late. [redacted] agreed to be at the installation. He never showed up. Instead, he went to the other property and picked up the remaining 50% of the money due on the estimate, which specifically states “1/2 due at completion.” A few hours into the installation (our old door was down and in many pieces) my husband checked on the work and saw that the installers were installing the wrong door. The wrong door is still hanging at our house. It is not the door that was priced up on the estimate and that we paid for. After multiple days of phone calls and trying to track [redacted] down, he agreed to get the door we ordered and install it on Monday, July 15th. I emailed him on Friday with a picture of the correct door wanting confirmation that he had the door and all was on schedule for Monday, the 15th. He replied back that it was. When he did not show up, I finally reached [redacted] in the early afternoon of the 15th, and he told me that he thought the install date that we agreed on was Monday, July 19th (which is a Friday). The last communication was between my husband and [redacted] on the the afternoon of July 15th, we have made multiple phone calls and sent email to [redacted] since then but have gotten no response!

Clozermatic has all the money due on the order, but we do not have the correct door on one of the houses. We have emailed Clozermatic and left multiple voicemail messages, but we have received no response. We cannot get Clozermatic to propose any sort of plan to get the wrong door off of our house, and the correct door installed nor can we get them to refund our money to us. This business has no business being in business. For that reason, we are reaching out to the Revdex.com in hopes of helping us to get [redacted] to step up to delivering on the products we purchased from him, and have paid him for, as a first step before potential legal action is taken against his business. This experience has been overwhelmingly frustrating.Desired Settlement: We want the door that was installed at our house removed, and we want the door that we ordered, referenced on the contract, installed. Clozermatic has all the money owed to them right now. So, they seem to have no sense of urgency in resolving our issue. In fact, they are ignoring our emails and phone calls. If Clozermatic cannot deliver on the order, then we want a full refund for the door that we ordered and they did not install.

Review: **. [redacted] the owner/installer did not finish the installation, also he got paid in full. my main cocern is that he told me that he doesn't have to install the light sensors in the bottom of each side of the door, since the door itself has a sensors itself to stop the door of coming down when it comes in contact with any resistand ( like a child ), after he install the door I checked it and it does not work. There other problems with door, but they are not life hazhards. I called the company many, many times and to the owner cell phone. and no respond at all.Desired Settlement: I would like Clozermatic Co. AKA [redacted]'s company. to come and correct and finish the job correctly.

Review: This company has continued to bully me to collect the final payment for its product. Clozurmatic and specifically, [redacted], informed me that they took credit cards before the work was completed. Once the work was done he then told me they could not accept payment via credit card. If they had been clear on this in the beginning we would not have used their service. I offered to work out payment with them and to date have paid him over 50% of the total payment. He stated he understood my situation and yet last fall called and then showed up to MY HOME to collect payment. I worked out another arrangement and now he is bullying and harassing again for payment threatening to go to the place of repair and pull out the product and work if the remaining payment isn't collected FROM MY HOME with in the next business week. This is unethical business practice. It is not allowed to trespass on another's property for any reason. There has been NO letter of request for collection of remaining funds only a threat to show up at my personal home OR the place of repair to remove product that is over 50% paid. I would like if someone could give me some information as to how I should handle this situation.Desired Settlement: I would like acknowledgement of payment received including a letter of request for the payment owed and all correspondence from here on out to be via USPS. I need a paper trail and not bullying phone calls. I do have this last voice mail on tape. I would also like another complaint filed with Revdex.com due to horrible practices.

Review: Jeremy O[redacted] of Clozermatics came to fix broken torsion springs of my garage door in July 2014, collected $227 to order springs and install when the springs arrived. I made several attempts to reach him after that transaction; however, springs never arrived, he continues to neglect my request for service, and has failed to repair my garage door. After two months of his visit and collecting $227 for my garage door repair, my garage door remains unrepaired.Desired Settlement: I would like to request full refund of the money he collected as he has not repaired my garage door or bring the torsion springs he said he ordered for us.

Review: Partial installation of garage door. The job was never finished. Multiple missed follow up appointments. Once paid they never returned to complete the job. Parts have been paid for and never delivered. Installation services have been paid for and are still incomplete.Desired Settlement: Complete the work promised and supply the parts that have been purchased.

Review: I have used Clozermatic for over 20 years and needed them to come and fix my garage door which would not open or close. They came about a week ago, charged my $216.85 and the next day the door would not open or close. I have made many calls to them. They responded twice that they would come back BUT have never responded.Desired Settlement: It is amazing to me that they would allow this to happen. In any event I just want my money back and I will contact another company to fix the door
