DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY SURGERY ON YOUR PETWhat we experienced: DrMacDougall used too tight mesh on a Dane dog's ear hematoma that caused a permanent hole in dogs ear- DrMacDougall would not put same dog on antibiotics after a neuter/pexy and dog developed an infection- Dr MacDougall broke off catheter during a TCI procedure on Dane ***When I came in next day for second TCI procedure DrMacDougall started insisting on a surgical AI insteadI said no & during second TCI "discovered" broken tip of catheter deep inside herHad to do a surgical AI as could not retrieve without anesthesia- Dr Thompson botched an entropion surgery on week puppy leaving her with extremely loose eyes as she grew causing eye irritation from allergensSpecialist corrected- Both Dr's misdiagnosed blockage in Dane *** & released with ok for lake trip saying blockage in colon & would passAfter no change in status could not get a vet to call back for days and then on Sat, minutes before closingBrought back in for surgery at opening on MondayLeft in Dr MacDougall's care but Dr Thompson preformed surgeryDespite no motility in her intestines he chose to preform a spay blaming it "at my request." Was told she had to remain overnight & tech would be checking onWhen tech checked on at 1030pm she was in distress with classic bleeding out symptomsDespite having major surgery & performing a spay on a large breed dog Dr Thompson DID NOT RETURN TO OFFICE TO CARE FORPrescribed opioid for her anxiety over phone and she was found dead on floor in amI had to call office to find out my dog had diedState necropsy showed large amounts of grass still in her stomach & cause of death was bleeding out due to loose ligatures at right ovarian pedicle- Office would not turn over medical records for my dogs despite being paid in fullTook weeks & certified demand letter to finally getMistakes happen in medicine but incompetence & lack of care caused my dogs death at LLAC * It has taken me almost month to write this review as I have yet to get over the needless death of my heart dog on 6/20/ I would like everyone to understand that they need to research and ask questions of their vetsAsk if they have done a procedure on their breed before and how many timesAsk their success and failure rateAsk if there is a specialist that could treat condition better as more experienced in that area Don't assume your vet can do all procedures correctly NEVER leave your dog overnight at a clinic like LLAC that does not have a vet and staff on duty hours a day I should have been told I had the option to take my dog to a hour ER vet where she could have had a chance Please don't let this happen to your beloved pet like it happened to mineMy girl deserved better than to die on a cold cement floor with no one there
So I had this vet clinic ship some semen to Nebraska for a breedingIn order to do this you have to place a $deposit for the shipping container (no big deal)IT TOOK OVER A MONTH TO GET MY REFUND BACK!!!!!!!! I tried calling almost on a daily basis pleading that someone please call me in regards to my refundI was always told that someone will call me back by the end of the day to take care of this issueNOTHING!!!!!! I finally was so upset that I called and spoke to a "manager" and let them know that I needed to speak to somebody by the end of today in regards to whats going on (as only the re-pro techs can help) or I will file a complaint with the Revdex.com they said "we are so sorry that it has come to this, we will call you today for sure"AGAIN NOTHING!!!!!!!!! They finally did refund me the deposit minus $from what they told me it would be then blamed it on meThis clinic is very very unprofessional and I would be very cautious of using them for any re-pro needs
