CLP Waters Ave LLC Reviews (3)

I have had the worst experience with CLP Waters Ave also known as Innovo Living on Waters. I was so excited to live in a "resort" style community and was even more excited about the pool and gym amenities. Unfortunately the management is absolutely horrendous. The community is still under construction and I was incredibly understanding to a point. When I moved in the first things we noticed was the floors weren't level. My bedroom door rubs against the frame making a loud noise and difficult to open and close. The cabinet drawers in the kitchen hit each other if you open both at the same time and the baseboards don't meet the floor in some places (yay places for bugs to hide!) All of this maintenance said they couldn't be fixed and I would have to be careful which I understand but [redacted] my apartment was completely half ***.(follow dropbox link at the bottom to see photos). Management has been a mess since day one. It took us over 3 hours after our scheduled appointment to get our keys to move in. We honestly didn't even see a model due to the construction and when we tried calling voicemails were never returned(red flag). They messed up our bill the first month and instead of explaining the mistake she pointed at a number on the paper and said oh no its right there. That was NOT the mistake and I was just given a response intended to make me go away. Also they are terrible with communicating construction details and do not properly post when parking lots will not be accessible. My favorite was when I came home one day to my door being blocked off due to sidewalk repaving. We actually receive a notice maybe 50 percent of the time. Now in terms of amenities this is where I lost my patience. I have barely had the opportunity to access them because the are only available during office hours. We can NOT gain access outside of office hours until the gates are working and they can give us key cards. So I work during office hours meaning I cant use the gym or pool and have not been able to for the past 5 months. The 24 hour security guard is supposed to act as a replacement. Sounds nice, but my car got broken into on the property and no one saw a thing. So what exactly am I paying for? With all of this frustration and absolutely no solutions provided by management I reached out to the Vice President Mr. Adam S [redacted] . He apologized and informed me of a solution to at least one of the issues I had brought to his attention. He informed me we should be gaining access to amenities Aug 1st via security on the property (4 months after moving in). I tried numerous times to get into the gym and every time the guard said he did not have a key. On 9/1 I confirmed with the front desk attendant in the leasing office that we do NOT have access to the gym outside of office hours. I reached out to Mr. S [redacted] to inform him of the misinformation and received the rudest response (follow dropbox link at the bottom to see Letter). In short the letter says oh I spoke with management and they said you can get into the gym. After receiving this letter I walked up to the security officers on the property and asked again just to double check. Again I was told no So thank you for playing a game of he said she said, and showing me that management will continue to provide terrible customer service. In closing the letter refers me to my lease where I can "execute early termination" for a fee of course. So pretty much shut up or get out. As you can see management does not resolve any issues. Their customer service is awful and they expect people to pay to be treated like garbage. And how dare a business attempt to bully their customers/residents from self reporting their experiences(refer to letter). These platforms are created to allow potential customers to form educated decisions before signing a year contract and committing on a space that may not even be structurally sound. Because the photos on your website are beautiful and the rent was low. If I knew this was what I was signing up for I would've looked elsewhere. I hope my post allow others to come forward and write their positive or negative experiences. [redacted]
