ID *** I have been in the dry cleaning business fro more than years and within this time span, I have not encounter such a situation with a comforter or blanketI follow the directions that come with the blanket and after the cleaning service was completed, the blanket was clean and in better condition from when it was first brought inAfter The blanket was picked up (two months later) by ***, following Monday, she came in with an unyielding attitude and accused me of destroying her blanketI asked if she brought the blanket with her to show me the damage, but she said that she did not bring it with herAt this point, she pulled out pictures that supposedly showed the damage and to which I responded that without the physical blanket, it would be hard ti determine the damage of the blanketAfter explaining this, *** began to scream and yell that I destroyed her blanket and even turned around to tell the next customer in line to not bring clothes here because I would destroy their clothingThe Customer was talking to defend my work ethics by stating that he had been coming to my dry cleaning store for years and never experience a situation involving damaged clothing. *** also accused me of having bad customer service, but I only began to argue back after she started causing a scene in my dry cleaning store and dragging in another customer who was an innocent bystanderShe also stated I her letter that my husband, ***, apologized, but the apology was directed towards ***'s boyfriend for getting him involved in the situation and not the blanketI have done nothing wrong and there is no reason to involve my insurance. I am rejecting this response because:
The situation *** described is inaccurate as she did not ever mention that she needed to physically see the blanketIn fact, she refused to even review the photos I provided herI should not be expected to haul an oversized blanket back and forthShe has made this a burden and inconvenience on me as a customer because she does not want to accept financial responsibilityI had to go back to Club Cleaners to even discuss the situation with her because she would not return my phone calls*** continues to make excuses to divert attention from the real problem that she ruined a customer's item and, as a business, is responsible to replace the itemThat is why dry cleaners carry insurance and these are not subjective situations as to IF the owner thinks their insurance should be involvedWhat kind of business practices do they have? Is this how they handle all customer complaints? They make it so difficult hoping the customer will go away so they don't have to be accountable for their poor quality of workEven after I have provided proof, she still fails to take responsibilityShe has has made several statements regarding the blanket being dirty, she needed to see the damage, and even blamed me for being upset when my item was ruinedNothing that *** has stated is even relevant to the claim that the item was damaged and I submitted proofIrregardless, of how she cleaned the blanket or what directions she followed, it was ruined. If the company is not going to be held responsible for customer's items then they need to disclose to customers that they are utilizing their services at their own risk and Club Cleaners will not be responsible for damaged or ruined items I am not the first customer to complain about ruined itemsI read other Yelp reviews from a customer that had to have their academy uniforms fixed because they were done incorrectly and another customer mentioning that *** is rudeAs a business, the customer is supposed to be right and something has to be done about these business practices of Club CleanersI am seeking immediate reimbursement or I will be pursuing this legally

On February 22nd , the customer's boy friend, [redacted], brought in a fur blanket that need to be cleaned because of the pungent smell. The boyfriend clearly stated that the blanket was dirty and needed to be clean and he also mentioned how [redacted] could handle the filthy blanket. Then the next two...

month on April 22nd the customer came in to claim the blanket accusing us of damaging her $300 blanket I explanined to her the cleaning label says dry cleaning only. I asked her to bring back the blanket so that I could inspect the severeness of the damage, however, she refused and due to our store policy and without the physical evidence, there was nothing we could do. [redacted] showed us the picture of the blanket, but the photo did not show much and the extent of the damage could not be determind. The next day, [redacted] came back and tried to negotiate a solution to the problem. He ask that the cleaning fee be returned and we accepted his request and wrote a check refunding the cleaning service. Following Monday I received letter from Revdex.com. I though we had already resolved the issue by refunding the cleaning service.
