When you came in to apply for an apartment you were given an application packet that clearly states on the front page different money orders were neededYou stressed the fact you needed a place ASAP so we were doing our best to get your application run as soon as possibleWhen your applications were declined, we notified you about the decline and gave you the number to our screening company so you could find out why you were declinedWhen you came in to pick up your Smart Fee (what you refer to as your refundable deposit), that is when you were told it would be returned to you from corporate because you failed to get different money orders and that it could take up to daysWe understand your frustration with having to wait, but the application packet clearly states different money ordersYou and your co-applicant came in demanding that someone take you to the bank and get your money now! You were loud and angry, demanded upper management's phone numberWe were trying to get the number for you, and out of stress (we had been at this property less than a week) the phone number to the office was given along with [redacted] 's nameAs soon as you walked out and called, [redacted] answered the phone as she always does - "Thank you for choosing Club Creek, this is Valencia, how may I help you?" You began to yell and threaten, that's when [redacted] informed you this was the office, apologized and proceeded to find and give you the correct numberWe understand that [redacted] and [redacted] sound very much alike but [redacted] never portrayed to be [redacted] You applied for the apartment on September 28th, you were declined on September 29thAfter you called our screening company and nothing could be done to re-evaluate your application we finalized the decline on October 6thA refund check was issued on October 14th from corporate, we called and left a voicemail we had your refund check that dayYou came in the first part of the following week and picked up your checkYou received your refund in less than daysThank you, [redacted] Community Manager Club Creek Apartment Homes CLEAR Property Management [redacted] ***Austin, Texas [redacted] [redacted] ________________________________________

When you came in to pick up your Smart Fee (what you refer to as your 125 refundable deposit), that is when you were told it would be returned to you from corporate because you failed to get 3 different money orders and that it could take up to 30 days. We understand your frustration with having to wait, but the application packet clearly states 3 different money orders. You and your co-applicant came in demanding that someone take you to the bank and get your money now! You were loud and angry, demanded upper management's phone number. We were trying to get the number for you, and out of stress (we had been at this property less than a week) the phone number to the office was given along with [redacted]'s name.
