Review: Club wpt per their terms of service must accept post card players. A player has to include screen name on site real name address dates wants to play good for one month and email info. I was credited 2 months ago . This month they told me I have to include a phone number and date of birth which I didn't have to do previously. Last month they claimed not to have received my post card request so I sent in three envelopes to insure they would get. Now they said I had to resend with my phone number and dob which was not required the previous month. It is obvious they are not wanting to credit me an would rather I pay and are changing the terms of postcard players so a player has to keep sending and never gets credited.Desired Settlement: I want my membership for one month credited as it was last month and I do not want to include my phone number which wasn't necessary before. They are claiming I need to include dob they allowed me to play with credit card info and they also have my drivers license. They are commiting fraud by not allowing postcard players as required to by law.

This is in reply to a letter I received from the Revdex.com dated Monday, July 28th, 2014 in regard to case ID [redacted].

From what I see on your site, this was a complaint from one of our members, [redacted], about our requirements for alternative means of entry card submissions. I don’t know why, but I did not receive the earlier communications about this case to which you refer.

At any rate, [redacted] refers to our terms and conditions about accepting alternative means of entry cards, and then admits not to including all the information on the card(s) he sent. These requirements have not changed, and are specifically detailed in the same terms and conditions to which he referred. Specifically in section 5 part 2, which reads:

“For each period that you want to participate in Club tournaments, each member must send a 3 inch x 5 inch card on which the member has legibly handwritten their Username, First and Last Name, Complete Mailing Address (e.g. Street, City, State, ZIP code), Email Address, and Date of Birth (each, a “Mail-In Registration”). Each Mail-In Registration must be placed in a single separate envelope, and mailed to 1920 Main Street, Suite 1150, Irvine, CA 92614. Multiple Mail-In Registrations in a single envelope are not acceptable. If multiple Mail-In Registrations are sent in a single envelope only one Mail-In Registration chosen in our sole discretion, will be processed. Kentucky residents may request postage reimbursement by writing "Please reimburse postage" on the 3 inch x 5 inch card. Reimbursement will be in the form of one first-class U.S. Postal Service postage stamp. No metered mail will be accepted. No photocopies, reproductions or facsimiles of the 3 inch x 5 inch card are allowed. The usage of a service to provide the production of the 3 inch x 5 inch card will not be allowed.”

We do not ask for a phone number. Customer service explained to him what was required. Further, he has since sent a card that DOES include what is and has always been required and is once again a member via alternative means of entry.

Review: I joined this poker site 1 1/2 weeks ago and was suppose to have 2 weeks of free membership but was charged $25. Today, I looked at my bank statement and found a $50 charge by them which overdrawn my acct. I never allowed them to charge for a free 14-day trial when it is only day 2. When I called the company on the next following day they tried to give me a no refund deal. I got an NSF for using that trial. It's misleading and uniforming. It makes you enter a card prior to accessing any information.Desired Settlement: 1. Refund my money.

Review: My son used my debit card once to use this organization for online poker. Since then, he has cancelled his participation. They continue to take money out of my account and I have notified them - more than once - that they are not authorized to take money out of my account. I have also informed my credit union that I have not authorized this. I want them to stop.Desired Settlement: I want them to make sure my son's account is closed and stop trying to take money out of my account.

Review: I registered with this company on or about 9/29/13 and while I was signing up and during that time the page reset and I had to hit back button and suspect that reset the term to 1 year instead of the monthly I was purchasing. I noticed this after reading an email form them a few days later and immediately notifed them of the error. They simply ignored me and recently re-notified them, this time they answered and stated they do not give refunds. This occurred because of a flaw in their web site and I require a refund be made.Desired Settlement: refund, may the prorated amount

Our members select their own billing term, whether that be monthly, quarterly, or annually. The choice is theirs, then they submit their request. This is not a flaw at our site; rather, it's designed to offer the plan most beneficial or pertinent to the member's preferences.

Upon review of the account, I found that the player has been continuing to use our service regularly up through and including today. Becuase of this, he is not entitled to a full refund. However, I have instructed customer service to close his account and issue a pro-rated refund for the balance of his current annual term. They will follow up with him with specifics via email. As a result, his access tot he games he's been continuing to play will end.

Review: In June 2014 I joined the clubwpt website, after only a couple hour on the site I realized that I couldnt play in the "premium" play of the site because my state restricts it. At that time I cancelled my account and even took their little why am I cancelling questionaire. Today July 20th 2014 I have been charged again for my account and after contacting the company I was told they have a no refund policy... Even though this mistake was on their end they refuse to fix it.Desired Settlement: I would like my 24.95 refunded.

Review: Per their user agreement, ClubWPT is supposed to pay out your winnings no later than 30 days. It is nearly 2 months and they have still not issued my check. They have done nothing except give me the run around. Every time I contact them there is an excuse and I'm told to wait one more week. That is a violation of their user agreement which states that all checks will be issued no later than 30 days of award acceptance. They even tried to block my ip address one day to stop me from contacting live chat online. They also charged my credit card for a yearly subscription when I only agreed to a monthly subscription. My credit card refunded me the money, but ClubWPT is operating like a scam. They owe me a total of $770 usd. I want my money they owe me and I feel that they should refund all my money because they broke their own user agreement.Desired Settlement: I would like ClubWPT to send me my check for my winnings and refund my money for breaking their own user agreement.

Review: I signed up for a 2 week trial on the Clubwpt.com website. I entered my MasterCard information for the trial period. My bank emailed me about a transaction for $239.40 on that same day. I chatted with the company and they said you don't have a 2 week trail period and it went to a one year membership immediately. I never agreed to a membership through the website. I emailed to company to resolve the issue and never received an answer.Desired Settlement: Return of my entire $239.40

Over the years, this player has created many accounts with us and has had our card dealing software explained to her on many, many occasions when she reported unfairness when she lost a game. We are not rigged and we do not have any interest in the outcome or results of our games.

Having been a member for so long and having been apprised of our policies repeatedly, it's surprising to hear these accusations. This member recently had her account suspended by us after repeated violations of our policies, after which she reported this to the Revdex.com.

I'm not sure what they could possibly mean by "forcing" people to make purchases. We've never forced anyone to make payments, nor would we.

Review: I was sent an e-mail offering me a free 14 day trial of ClubWPT online poker. I logged in and they said they needed my credit card info to validate my account and to bill me after the end of the 14 day trial if I didn't cancel my membership. They instead charged me for a full month immediatley and gave me no trial at all, and they are refusing to refund my money.Desired Settlement: Refund my 25.95

Review: I have not used site for about 8 months and noticed on my statements they keep charging my account when ask to give recent payment back he said no he could only close account and any money won was also closed out. wanted to speak to mangement no one available and want my money back.Desired Settlement: 3 8 month enstallments of 68.95 for every 3 months or 1 month 68.95

When I called the company on this mistake, the associate named Kavya said she could reimburse my $25 but could not reimburse the $50. She argued with me on this and when I asked for a manager, she refused to let me talk with anyone else. Finally, she put Shailgjg on the phone and she told me the same thing. I am very angry with them taking money out of my acct. that wasn't authorized by me and then was told they wouldn't reimburse me. This has caused a big financial problem for us. Yes, I did cancel my acct. with them as well. I am a "Disabled Vet" with a severe kidney disease and my wife has M.S. We are on a limited,set income and this chunk of money really hurts.Desired Settlement: I want my $25 refunded as well as the $50 minus the $5 for what I DID purchase. That's a $70 refund.

Review: My complaint is regarding their business practices regarding the collection of money, and lack of responses from customer service regarding these billing issues. First, they did not provide any notification to remind me of expiring services. I have not been on this website for several months and forgot I was ever a member. Because they did not notify me, I did not have the funds to cover an annual membership I also don't remember signing up for. As a result, I was charged $239.40 and also got a $35 NSF fee. Had I been reminded of an automatic draft due to come out, I would have been reminded and able to cancel my services and avoid this whole mess. I also did not receive any sort of email confirmation of a charge successfully coming from my bank account. I had to be surprised when I checked my bank statement. I have tried contacting the company via two separate email addresses: cancel@theclubservices and member@theclubservices on 6/12/15 and again on 6/13/15 requesting cancellation and a refund and have not received a response.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the full $239.40 and reimbursement for the $35 NSF Fee. I also want my account finally cancelled.

Review: I enrolled into their monthly vip service. However, I have discovered that they charged me for the yearly subscription plan instead of the monthly plan.On their website it says : Best of all, you can try ClubWPT with no obligations with our two-week FREE trial offerMy trial started in late december, it has been less then a week and they refuse to help me.They offered to switch me to the more expensive monthly plan, and then use the money from the yearly plan to pay for the monthly plan which would actually give me less value for the money they took out of my account.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the 239.40 for the yearly subscription.I offered to let them charge me at the monthly rate I had signed up for.

When I tried to logon and play the site said we needed a new version of [redacted].We downloaded the requested software but it didn't work We did everything we were told to do but the their software would not work. When I called the company to cancel I was told I waited too long to call and would be charged anyway They didn't care that the website didn't work We should have called by 21 March but called on 23 March. The cards dealt on our entertainment site are in no way rigged. We use a state of the art random number generator to simulate the true randomness that comes with any deck of cards being dealt. We have no interest in the outcome of any hand dealt at our site. This has been explained to the member many, many times via his ongoing contacts with customer service.

We have never withheld a claimed prize of any member for any reasaon, and certainly not because someone might have cancelled their membership with us. The customer was informed by customer service that the $25 check he was asking for had already been sent and that he has actually already endorsed and cashed that check.

Our customer service is performed primarily by skilled agents located in India. They are fluent in English, which is of course a requirement when dealing primarily with English speaking members.
