I scoured the checkout screens for anyplace that said I was signing up for a subscription with monthly automatic billingThere was noneThe customer support representative, Jenna, told me over and over that it was made clear at checkoutI requested different times during our conversation that she show me the Agreement for Services, or even some authorization which displays through checkoutShe could not do thisI was offered a refund, but I did not want to endure the hassle of it, so I declined the refund and cancelled the subscriptionShe was obviously giving scripted, opaque answers because she knew that it was unclear during the checkout process that I was going to be billed the following month at an even greater cost

Three out of four wines were bad they also had the same cork on three supposedly different winesSeems as thought one company is producing most of their product and changing labelsCompany has made it very difficult for the consumer to cancel their subscriptionCustomer chat representatives deliberately delayed canceling the membershipHad to ask multiple times for confirmation of cancellation, representative would type for minutes at a time but the response would be that I would have to waitAfter awhile I realized this was intentional in order to have you give up on canceling your membershipIt took me min to cancel my membership in their chatSlick website and design doesn't hide the fact that this was a huge waste of time and money

Can't cancel without calling/chatting, can't order without signing up for monthly charges That's why they get star You ask to cancel and have to sit there while they try and dissuade you They claim it's so that they can provide better customer service! That's like if GM tried to improve gas mileage by making the gas tank only hold gallons
Don't blame the reps, they are just following a script, blame the asinine decision-makers Do they think I'm going to passively accept a monthly charge just so that I don't have to go through the hassle of canceling through a rep? All it does is create waste They should be perfectly capable of putting a big red cancel button on the website
The wine is alright I don't think I really have a sophisticated taste for wine, so I can't vouch much for the quality None of it has been amazing or anything
Shipping was very fast and prompt Wines were packed very safely and they come with little cards telling you the best food pairings and whatnot
Price is alright, I could find cheaper around my area but not without hassle
If they amend their cancellation policy I would rate positively

The most impossible service in the world to cancel. I am still being charged despite them not having a valid credit card on file, nor my updated delivery/billing address. You are FORCED to call them to cancel, there is no link on their website and they will not accept cancellations via writing.
