Clutch Doctors did if fact replace the clutch correctly Ms [redacted] was informed that her clutch was not bled properly when she returned to pick up the car Mrs [redacted] requested more time to properly bleed the clutch Ms [redacted] returned with a tow truck and requested that Clutch Doctors discontinue working on her car and return it to her The technician was in the process of properly bleeding the clutch when Ms [redacted] demanded the return of her car The technician stopped working on her car as requested, in the middle of the repairWe simply needed more time to allow for the proper bleeding process and she was unwilling to wait Clutch Doctors did not refuse to work on her car, Clutch Doctors did not represent that the car was finished and ready to be picked up She took her car before the required repairs were finished and chose to pay another shop to finish the repair

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: this is a complete fabrication of what actually happenedTheir manager, Kevin, told me that my car was fine and expected me to drive away with itI asked him if he'd bled it correctly, told him there was a special Mini tool that had to be usedHe said they had the tool and that, although it was "soft" and there was "a lot of play" it was fine to drive I insisted they fix it but told him I needed it by noon the next dayHe put me, and everyone I would have been on the road with, or had in my car, in dangerI gave Clutch Doctors many opportunities to make it rightAfter leaving it there a day and a half, when I went to pick it up, Kevin said he was next going to replace the master cylinder, he said, because that was all he could think to doIf, as Clutch Doctors said, they "knew" they'd not bled it correctly, why would he be replacing the master cylinder? Why would it take them a day and a half to bleed the line if they knew what they were doing? My mechanic did it in hoursI expect a refund, if not the entire "repair" then at least what I had to pay to make the botched job Clutch Doctors did right again: $275.10.Sincerely, [redacted]

Clutch Doctors discontinue working on her car and return it to her.  The technician was in the process of properly bleeding the clutch when Ms. [redacted] demanded the return of her car.  The technician stopped working on her car as requested, in the middle of the repair. We simply needed more time to allow for the proper bleeding process and she was unwilling to wait.  Clutch Doctors did not refuse to work on her car, Clutch Doctors did not represent that the car was finished and ready to be picked up.  She took her car before the required repairs were finished and chose to pay another shop to finish the repair.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: this is a complete fabrication of what actually happened. Their manager, Kevin, told me that my car was fine and expected me to drive away with it. I asked him if he'd bled it correctly, told him there was a special Mini tool that had to be used. He said they had the tool and that, although it was "soft" and there was "a lot of play" it was fine to drive.  I insisted they fix it but told him I needed it by noon the next day. He put me, and everyone I would have been on the road with, or had in my car, in danger. I gave Clutch Doctors many opportunities to make it right. After leaving it there a day and a half, when I went to pick it up, Kevin said he was next going to replace the master cylinder, he said, because that was all he could think to do. If, as Clutch Doctors said, they "knew" they'd not bled it correctly, why would he be replacing the master cylinder? Why would it take them a day and a half to bleed the line if they knew what they were doing? My mechanic did it in 2 hours. I expect a refund, if not the entire "repair" then at least what I had to pay to make the botched job Clutch Doctors did right again: $275.10.Sincerely,[redacted]
