The food and beverage check in question was $not including tax and the suggested gratuity on that bill was 18%=or 20%=22.80.The check was split ways, each client paid $including tax, therefore the suggested gratuity based on "$57.00" before tax was 18%=or 20%=11.40.We were never notified of this complaint on 6/**/as per the statement or on any other occasion, had we have been notified, we would have gladly explained and cleared up any confusion.I will be in contact with our POS provider to notify them of this and look in to changing the suggested gratuity when clients split a bill so it is less confusing

The food and beverage check in question was $114.00 not including tax and the suggested gratuity on that bill was 18%=20.52 or 20%=22.80.The check was split 2 ways, each client paid $62.06 including tax, therefore the suggested gratuity based on "$57.00" before tax was 18%=10.26 or...
