Regarding the message from Clyde SWalton, they said in their message that they "did receive notice to stop all mailings on 11/7/2016." This date is incorrectI sent messages to them on, 10/31/2015, 11/7/2015, and 11/17/I still have that documentation if they care to see itThey never responded to any of my communications.I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We did receive notice to stop all mailings on 11/7/2016. There were indeed two pieces of mail received by the complainant within a ten day period. Both were processed by our mail house at the same time. Because the second mailing was already in place at the time of the complaint, we were unable to...

stop it. We apologize for that inconvenience. We have removed their name from the Clyde S. Walton, Inc. database, and, going forward, we will make certain that their address is double checked and pulled from any future Walton’s mailing list source. Many businesses use third party marketing firms that bring their own lists to promotions and campaigns. That was the case with this particular mailing. We have contacted our marketing firm to make sure that this address is removed from their list source as well. The complainant should also utilize some of the resources available to consumers in order to be protected from similar promotions from businesses using purchased lists. I used Walton's in Lansdale, Pa to install a central AC system as well as service it and their technicians are highly inept. They can never get it right the first time. It always requires follow up visits until one of the few knowledgeable technicians is sent out. This happened every time I used them including the initial installation.
The latest one is what prompted me to file this complaint. They came out for an AC tune up and the next day one of my Samsung heat pump units froze up and destroyed the blades. Of course they replaced it but claim it had nothing to do with anything the technician did it was my fault they said and billed me a thousand dollars.
I refused to pay and they wrote me long winded letter offering a $150 goodwill credit which if I didn't accept they threatened to take me to court.
If you want to avoid a lot of aggravation my advice is don't deal with this company in the first place. Find somebody else who knows what they are doing and cares about their customer's satisfaction. Also, I tried to contact the owner, Scott Walton, but to no avail. He hid behind his credit manager which is where the take it or leave it attitude came from. Don't say I didn't warn you!!!!!!!!!!!!
