The individual who has filed this complaint had stayed with us in November in Room 316. This room had been rented numerous times after and we have received no complaints. This individual called on Jan14, and no prior and reported that while she stayed here with her husband,
she had been infected with bed bugsWe called our Pest Control company immediately, he thoroughly inspected the room and could not find any bedbug activity. Ms. [redacted] had booked the reservation on line on June 9, 2016 through a employees of the Choice Hotels Link.  Ms. [redacted] is not an employee of Choice Hotels, therefore she does not qualify for an employee discount.  Furthermore,  our online booking reservation had been...

closed since May 20, 2016 and for some reason she was able to make the reservation.  We did not have any rooms at our property and that is why we shut our system so that the only way one can make reservation is by calling the hotel directly.   Stacy F[redacted], our General Manager has spoken to the manager at the Comfort Inn in Columbus, In. hello I'm the gm of the hotel I was looking at the complaint and it said he had to deal with me on mothers day I was not working that day he smoked in are hotel and we charge 150.00 is the fine he signed it when we try and charge it would only allow 50.00 here is the pic from his room .after...

That is false info. I did not book for volleyball. And also I was sent the link for friends and family. My friend had since quit working for comfort inn but that was after the link was sent. Stacy did NOT offer me to pay the full price of the room. She just cancelled without asking if I would like to keep the room at full price. She also misinformed me by saying she was the owner which is not true! I had a confirmation number so I assumed I had a room and now ALL hotels are booked. Stacy was also very unprofessional about the whole situation. I would like to speak to the owner to let them know how she is running their establishment. I can't imagine anyone would be happy with this.
