Review: On December **, 2014, ptik purchased a pair of eyeglasses from CM Optiks. gave them my eyeglasses and they sent they to California. They told me to expect them in two weeks. A month later I still had not received my glasses. I finally called the doctor's office and they notified the optician who hand delivered the glasses to me. The glasses were defective, mimicing the problems of the original glasses. I physically returned the glasses. They made appropriate adjusments. The glasses were still not satisfactory. A great deal of time passed. Because I was wearing glasses which were 5-years old, I bought a pair of inexpensive glasses because I assumed I would finally receive the pair of glasses I had been waiting for. In early April I was told they would not be able to fulfill the order. So after five months they were not able to fulfill an order which was paid in full in December. Eye-care professional run this office. That includes my physician, [redacted], who vouched for the optician. This is without expecption the worst consumer experience I have had since I moved to New York thirty five years ago.Desired Settlement: The original amount that I paid. I would ask for another pair of glasses as well given the aggravation I have experienced as well as an addition cost necessitated by their total incompetence. I am not sure they are cabable of creating a wearable pair of glass given the ineptness they have demonstrated. It would satify me greatly to get my money back and to provide other consumers with a warning not to use CM Optiks.
