I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] lied about what was contracted and agreed upon when he bid on the shed projectDuring his bid he guaranteed to build a shed pre-wired for electrical, built to our specifications with a window, door, etcHis guarantee was also that he would not require the second payment until we were 100% satisfied with the shedThis did not occur [redacted] promised a shed to be completed in one dayDue to a car breakdown he arrived lateThat was not a problemCars breakdownWhat was alarming was that I could not reach him from 7:45am until 2pmHis phone was dead without a backupWhile he was at our house and determining the location of the shed, I was concerned that our location would result in a step dropoff and he said his concern was my satisfaction and would throw in a step at no additional charge, to ensure the shed was where we wanted it to be locatedWe were off to a great start despite the delayWhat [redacted] failed to mention was that on Saturday, February he stated that he was staying the night in Savannah so that he could be at our home first thing Sunday morning to complete the shedHe left our home at 6pm that dayAt 10:30pm his wife called looking for him and had no idea where he wasThe next day [redacted] was unavailable by phone or text and never arrived to finish the shedThis was very frustrating as he made a promise and then failed to communicate with us that he would not be coming to the houseWe made sure to be home all day because he gave his wordWe are a military family, my husband is active duty, and trust a retired Marine to follow his wordIt was concerning because he didn't just not show up, he made no effort to contact us and let us know whyWhen we finally got a hold of him the following day, [redacted] stated that his mother had a heart attackI felt terrible for that and gave him time to come back to the houseIt was [redacted] who promised to be there the very next dayThe next few days there were issues with rainAgain, no problem, even though the guarantee was for the shed to be built in one day, and then it was to be completed the next dayI understand that life events occur and projects can take longer than you expect On Wednesday the frame of the shed was built, and there were no issuesMy dad mentioned a workbench to ***, and [redacted] confirmed that we wanted a workbenchIt was news to me, but not surprising that my husband might want a workbenchThis was the time I expected [redacted] to let me know the additional cost, but he said he would be happy to include a workbenchI was very pleased with his customer service approach, as the shed was clearly taking longer than promised, but he wanted to keep us happyThe pullup bar was an item that we purchased and said that we would install on our ownHe insisted that it was no trouble to install the pullup barThe biggest issue was on Thursday, February and onward [redacted] promised to arrive early and finish the shed by 7pm [redacted] left after our neighbor threatened to call the police [redacted] lied to my husband and said that the shed was built per our agreement, even though he never completed the electrical or the step he agreed to put in at no additional costAdditionally, he had us inspect the shed for completion in the darkIn the light of day the trim is uneven, unpainted in many sections, and the hardieboard siding is not levelYou can see light through the shed where it was not caulked in several areas including around the windowThe edging on the roof appears to have been torn, not cut, and the lining does not meet the shinglesThe finishing touches were done in a rushI contacted [redacted] on Friday and he apologized about the electrical and the finishingHe said that he had honestly forgotten that the pre-wiring for the electrical was included, but would do the workSince February [redacted] has never come back to address the rushed finishes and poor trim work, roof, step, or electrical He promises to be at our home, I have taken off of work to be available, and then he doesn't show, doesn't answer my calls/texts, and then has come up with a different reason why he wasn't there after the factWhen his mother died I got a message from his stepsonI said that I felt terrible for ***'s loss [redacted] said that he was burying his mother that day I was told she died Friday night and Saturday they were going to the funeral home to set up the arrangementsHis stepson [redacted] said that [redacted] still planned to be at our home just after 3pm that dayI said not to worry but to just keep in contact with meI did not demand that he complete work on that dayIt was a promise from him, not meI would never ask someone to do thatAgain, after that message there were no responses to phone calls or textsThat is when I said I did not want to go to small claims court, but after he got his final payment, [redacted] has made no effort to correct the mistakes that he promised would be fixed when he received his final paymentAfter this attempt at contact, [redacted] promised again to be at our house on TuesdayAfter ignoring my calls on Tuesday, I tried calling from my work and he answered right away, and again promised to be at our house to finish what was agreed to initially - electrical wiring, fixing the roof, and trim/sidingThen he never showed up and never answered a phone call or textI had no choice but to file a Revdex.com complaintIn looking at the work product on his website and his statement of 'no final payment until you are satisfied' this isn't even close to what was promisedIn my complaint I requested $as we have to take off the roof, trim, siding, and rebuildThere is also no electrical in the shed [redacted] did not meet his contractual obligationsI would love to say $and just have [redacted] come to the house and complete what he promised, but is has been several weeks and each day he says that he will be here, he doesn't showIf [redacted] would come to our house and complete the work, I would be thrilledHowever, he has not made any effort to do soThis is why I am requesting funds instead so that we can fix the shed on our ownIf he would prefer to do the work (I have shared pictures with him so he can see the final product is far from satisfactory by any builder's standards), I am more than happy for that to be arrangedStill, he has not responded to my requests I did not lie in the [redacted] review either Regards, [redacted]

Due to mechanical issues, I didn't arrive til 2:15pm. I built the floor system and departed @ 5:30 pm.2/22/2015 Sunday - Did not work2/23/2015 Monday - Spoke with Customer and explained I can not use power tools in the rain.2/24/2015 Tuesday - Rain . Again Called customer and talked w/ her. told her I would be there wed as soon as rain cleared.2/25/2015 Wednesday - Arrived @ 09:30 framed walls and roof system. Departed @ 5:23 pm
2/26/2015 Thursday- Painted, installed hardiepanel, trim and shingles. Arrived At 9:45am Departed 11:45pm
I did inform them that all contracted work was complete and I needed the balance owed on bldg. Told them I would return on 2/27/2015 to complete any extras.
throughout this entired process, mrs . [redacted]s father and mother we present giving rave reviews. [redacted] and her father did inspect the bldg. asked me to install a workbench and pullup bar in the bldg. I went and pawned some tools to get the material to do this. I orignally had 1x3 trim up due to the smallness of the building but was asked to remove and use 1x4. this took time and labor.
2/27/2015 I was in a wreck and hospitalized with a concussion, bruised ribs and a bruised lung.
2/28/2015 - spoke w/ customer and told her what happened in the wreck and hospitalization. she said she understood and asked if I could come on the saturday 3/7/2015. that would be easier for them and to give me time to heal.
Friday 3/6/2015 - My mother passed. spoke w/ customer

3/10/2015 spoke w/ customer buried my mother. Customer wanted me to come after funeral service. No compassion.
These are just phone calls. texts are more . After the last conversation and finding the complaint she has made again myself and my business , especially after losing my mother and her threats, quite frankly I am done w/ this customer. I have gps on all of my vehicles and it will provide proof of the times I stated. (my vehicles may be old but I protect my business and equipment) I have asked [redacted] and my gps co to email/fax my records. call log and messages are locked into my phones as well. She has misinformed [redacted] and the Revdex.com by not stating the complete facts, and in my opinion completely lying on some. I have 1345.22 in material on this building and there is no way she is getting 850.00 back. on two different rewiews and complaint sites she lied and I have both in writing. if she would like to pursue this in small claims court, I will be more than happy to meet her there. The building does not leak, was water tested and have video of this. as far as did I say I would wire the bldg and build steps yes but neither were contracted. these ppl want something for nothing and they will not get it from me.
